Two words sum up this movie, and the general American mentality of the time (as well as today with some retarded retards), ready - - - - - - RACISM and SEXISM, skin colour, race, religion, ethnicity, gender whatever has no place in any decent society, you get the best person to do the job, simple. Some women fought against the prejudices and succeeded. That's the story here, the sideline story is the trip into space

This was an excellent movie and how much is owed to these woman for their support of the NASA missions. How they showed a strength beyond what is normal dealing with prejudice. My wife, her mother and I saw this movie 6 times. It was a nice memory of my late wife who passed away 3 years ago from cancer.
