The fact that Tanjiro actually invading Giyuu's house to harass Giyuu with kindness is cannon and not just a joke got me wheezing 😂 Also it irritates me that Iguro and Sanemi automatically assume that Giyuu thinks he's better than everyone just bc he doesn't rlly socialize and avoids talking to ppl. Giyuu said he's different from them and their first thought is "he thinks he's better than everyone" like tf? They immediately judge without knowing the full story and treat Giyuu like shit. Sanemi and Iguro are absolute assholes to almost everyone and treat ppl horribly yet it's Giyuu that's arrogant?? Shinobu says she wants to be friends with Giyuu but literally all she does is relentlessly bully him and purposefully try to provoke him with backhanded compliments and insults. She gets pissy when Giyuu doesn't respond to her but constantly tells him everyone hates him then tries to say it's just a joke?? Harmless teasing?? So if someone were to bring up Kanae being as dead as her personality then say they were just joking it would be fine? She's a fucking doctor yet she can't see signs of depression and ptsd? So no I'm not that fond of Shinobu, iguro, or Sanemi. Muichiro is literally almost as quiet as Giyuu and is a lot more rude yet he still gets more respect. They accuse Giyuu of being arrogant yet they're the ones that immediately assumed they knew exactly what he was thinking just bc he didn't respond the way they wanted. When I was little I wasn't very social with the other kids in elementary school bc they would bully and harass me but my principal immediately jumped to "there's something wrong with her she needs to be on medication".
