I've been thinking about this lately because I started working graveyard after working 2nd shift for 3 decades. It works out decently except for sleep sometimes. A method I've come up with is to wear myself out just prior to going to bed. Housework is a good choice. I've started to get overweight in my old age so doing a pedicure has become extremely difficult and I tend to avoid it. But if it helps me sleep a full night then I've given a difficult task a very positive motivational purpose. I think I've killed 2 birds with one stone. I need motivators in my life for sure. I'll be trying this out asap!
