With Ag diesel solutions you can pump that sucker up to 32 hp...I am gonna do it on mine. J Deere just detuned the 3032E engine to hit 25 hp. Same motor. No regen.

Why on earth would you pay $545 for that set up if you could spend $350 more and have an actual 3rd function switch on your loader lever that works all the time? I just can’t wrap my head around it. You have enough money to buy a John Deere tractor and a grapple and you don’t wanna pay a little more for a real third function set up from WR Long….

How’s the cutter been? 70 horse pull it around just fine?
@rockinrranch14312 жыл бұрын
Cutter has been awesome! Would recommend it to anyone. Highway departments around here use a lot of them and beat the fire out of them. They’re tough. Tractor pulls it great. Most of the stuff we bush hog we can run about 4-5mph. We only bush hog these fields once a year so they get pretty hairy

@@rockinrranch1431 great to hear. I pick up my new Kubota M4D-071 next week and I have been looking at 12’ cutters pretty hard for my business. Bush whacker seems to be a tough unit to beat.

I put this same grapple on my JD 1025R and it works perfect for working with trees. I added a 3rd tooth in the center and reenforced it to match the outer teeth and it did add an additional 50 lbs. I also boosted my hydraulic pressure 20% and with about 500 lb ballast weight on the 3 point. I can get into some very tight spots that you can’t really get into with a larger tractor.
@robertstrand60362 жыл бұрын
I have this grapple on my 1025R and it handles it very well. However I added a tooth in the middle and used the same thickness of metal, also welding the same size of gusset, after that the grapple is far better than it was built and the added weight was only 50 lb. highly recommend!

I was down to this tractor and Kubota b2601. I chose the Kubota because it had a three range transmission and the easy on and off loader. For me at least price difference was only about $700. Not a fan of the tredle pedal but you get use to it.
I got quoted a BX23S with mechanical thumb for $27k. Got a 2025r with 3rd service valve and mechanical thumb for same.

My 2003 JD 790 has heated air intake and will start in -15 weather. You could have had fuel issues or the glow plugs really aren’t working that well. Ignore the haters, the Yanmar engines are solid but JD should have just stuck to heated air intakes, they work much better.
@supporterofeverythingyouli62553 жыл бұрын
That tractor does have heated air intake, it's obvious to me his fuel is solid, and battery is weak.
@stanpeterson82733 жыл бұрын
@@supporterofeverythingyouli6255 sorry, it does not. Go search the parts manual and you will not find a listing for an intake heater. Usually the small tractors came with either a heated intake or glow plugs but not both. Bigger ones do offer both.

I compared that tractor when I bought my tractor. . It didn't compare to Kubota when you put them side by side. It's about 25% physically smaller. JD was toy like. I really wanted to buy a JD but really wasn't even close. My price experience wasn't the same. They came out the same. I would prefer if it didn't have a treadle pedal but you get use to it. People make a big deal about the pedal because I think they use it wrong. I just use my heel , it's second nature now. I'm glad your happy with your purchase. I'm sure it will be a good tractor for you.
@rockinrranch14313 жыл бұрын
L2501 is 16% heavier at 2622 lbs over the 3025E's 2222 lbs but only the wheelbase of the L2501 is only 3.3 inches longer. However, the L2501 does have a longer loader on it which may be why it lifts less weight than the 3025E. And the R4 tire sizes are the exact same on the two. You may have been comparing the 2025R to come up with a 25% small physical size because it definitely wasn't this tractor. Hate that you had a bad price experience. I compare these two because the L2501 is supposedly Kubota's economy tractor. I needed an economy tractor. The treadle pedal is just a personal preference things. Do you have a review video of your tractor? I'd love to check it out.
@deerrudy3 жыл бұрын
@@rockinrranch1431 I think weight difference in part has to do with JD aluminum rear end. Some people don't care but weight is so important in tractors. I think why I see so many videos of the 3025e trying to add weight to the rear.. No it was the 3025E I looked at. I think you have to put them side by side to see the size difference . I came up with that 25% just an observations not in spec anywhere just my estimate. I think prices vary so much from area to area. It's small preferences. If I had to.complain about one thing on the Kubota it would be the Pto selector vs the JD which is better. But overall glad I went with it. I don't have a review messicks did. Not same HP but same frames. You can see size difference irrespective of tire similarities Watch "**TUG OF WAR** John Deere 3032E VS. Kubota L3301" on KZfaq kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kJx-pNZpsJywl4U.html
@fasterpastor43833 жыл бұрын
Yea but where JD has all other manufacturers beat on is the smoothies hydraulic system on the market because they pump more fluid threw the pumps than any other tractor. So the end result is smoother operation and more powerful while operating equipment. When you start using equipment there is a notice in power because the JD pull and use equipment a lot better.
