Why the shame in Runick when combo decks basically do the same after they play solitaire for 3 straight minutes? 😂 😂

I wish this video was more beginner friendly :(. I was into Yugioh but only when I was 8 and I'm 33 now. The game is soooo complex. Ugh. I have a loose understanding of how cards work but not necessarily IN a dual. I understand the card texts and how all of the cards work, just not necessarily how they work in an actual game I guess. So I wish you made this exact video but extremely thorough for a super beginner.

Hey I'd love to see more kash videos maybe a beginner guide! This has been one of the best videos I've seen regarding sequencing, as a new player it's easier for me to learn combos with the full explanation vs these fast combo videos everyone posts with no explanation. thank you so much for this! Also since baronne is gone is chengying the better option as our lvl 10 now?

The only thing I would change is the Fenrir ratio, going 1st it doesn’t do anything that great. I’m personally running 3 Unicorn and 1 Fenrir main (2nd Fenrir in side deck). I get that Fenrir is good to stick on the field but the better card for Snake-Eyes is Unicorn because you search Birth and use Unicorn as card to send off of any Diabellstar/Snake-Eye/Sinful Spoils card then bring it right back to the field with Birth. I’d much rather see Unicorn in Snake-Eye than Fenrir if I’m being totally honest… going second is probably the time you’d want to see Fenrir but both Kash monsters going second bait interactions since they’re immediate threats.

Question. On a scale of 1-10 10 being the most necessary. How necessary do you feel bonfire is at 3. Not from a cost perspective but pure strategy. I also run this kash package similar to you. I also run 2 witch vs 3. The way I’ve built the deck is to go over 40 to minimize the bricks. But I’ve found that 3 bonfire is sometimes unnecessary. If I see it once. Great. If see it twice I’m not happy. If I don’t see it at all I have other engines to play through. Thoughts. On a side note I still do think that kurikara and subversion are good inclusion. Because it almost forces your opponent to kill you turn 2 or they die on turn 3 with your board breakers being searched and the sinful spoils spells to restart combo. I personally would probably cut one fenrir and just add one card to deck. Or substitute one fenrir for another planet on paper. In master duel you can’t obviously. I personally think that if you can play more planet then play the planet over a 3rd fenrir. It plays into droll but it’s free fodder for witch and snake

I have a suggestion. Cut the 3 bonfires and and play 3 Risehearts and blackwing zephros the elite. Add 2 xyz monsters infernal flame Banshee which is a built in bonfire and Raidraptor Arsenal Falcon to get out Zephros the elite

It does conflict, I once sided in Bystials and ended up drawing it along with Fenrir which sucked. Bystials might be good to run in the side.

Hi I just started learning how to play yugioh this week and Runick Stun is my favorite deck! I have a few questions if you feel like answering them. 1. What cards do you normally sideboard out when going second to make space for things like sphere mode. I know you mentioned the Runick 1 of's but are there any other default go-tos? This is probably the thing I have the most trouble with. 2. I've been playing Majesty's Fiend instead of Inspector Boarder because it has a lot less text (lmao). But also it lets me get rid of my fusion if I need to so that I can activate fountain off of summoning another Runick. Is this okay or is the card just worse? I see a few other deck profiles with people running it but between Majesty's Fiend, Inspector Boarder and Amano I have no clue which is supposed to be the best option and when. 3. Thoughts on Dark Bribe instead of Solemn Judgment? I have heard that life points are important for time or something. 4. Thoughts on Summon Limit? My friend who is teaching me says that it is an "instant win" with Skill Drain but I have no clue if that is true or not. 5. I banished both of my Fountains today with Desires so is there something else I can run? xd Thanks and nice video.

Thank you for watching! I’ll try to answer everything thoroughly: 1: i hate to say it but it’s match up dependent. Usually a good side out going 2nd though is skill drain! The card is super good but doesn’t break a board when going 2nd where rivalry, gozen, and tcboo can. However, this is match up dependent because certain floods like rivalry, gozen, or tcboo can be sided out depending on how good they are. 2: imma be real i think amano is by far the best one and i absolutely should’ve played it this weekend. The reasoning is that majesty can clear a fusion but you need a runick spell to summon it so it’s inherently a 2 card combo. Amano breaks a board by itself. You want as low commitment cards as possible while playing this deck imo because your first 5 cards are very important. Boarder is also very good because it’s a low investment card that can beat voiceless. It basically is just majesty without needing another card. If you play with amano tho i promise you you’ll love it. 3: I prefer judgement because you can stop big summons as well as spell or traps. The extra utility is very nice. Going to time is also usually good for you because munin gives you an extra 1000+ in every end phase so if your opponent keeps passing you will easily make everything back. 4: summon limit is broken but specifically in this deck it’s not the best. You want floods that break boards or can stop your opponent from killing you. Summon limit stops you from dying but your opponent usually isn’t summoning more than twice anyways. Tbh if you’re decking your opponent out they usually aren’t summoning at all under your other floods. It’s also awful going 2nd. 5: imma be real banishing fountain SUCKS but you need to play at least 1 desires. I don’t think you need multiple of it. In theory you have a higher chance of getting to fountain than 1 desires so you can 99% of the time get to fountain first. Imma be real though there have been numerous times i banished both my fountains and still won though! Runick spells are too good! You could also play 1 of extrav however you have to be careful because you can’t draw into it and use it that turn or use it and draw later. Good luck with the deck and I hope you find success with it!

Thank you so much! I missed the card advantage aspect when thinking about fiend. I also never would have thought to side out the skill drain but it makes sense. I watched quite a few deck profiles and most of them would explain if they thought a given card card was good or bad when they played it but there was not a lot of “why” for this card or that similar card from a deck building perspective. Which is why your answer is helpful for an omega noob like me! I’ll try to apply what you’ve taught me to clap my friend up when I finally get to play him again tomorrow. He is on Snake Eyes (has spent probably 1800+ on it) and I think he was annoyed when I took my first game ever off of him with 50$ Runick lol. Thanks again! 😎

Genuine question: With Fenrir and Unicorn on field and Riseheart in hand, why not summon riseheart, make it level 7, go into Shangri Ira with Riseheart and Unicorn, then replace the Unicorn with Ira in their standby phase? Is it just that Shangri Ira is fairly useless and then plays into Talent and Thrust?

Dude you start with double Riseheart in hand your hand is bad. That's why I play 2 Riseheart. Also dude I've crushed Snake-Eyes without nibiru. You have no idea what your talking about. Also you're wrong you Ash Kashtiratheosis not the planet. If I play you in mirror match I'm actually ending with my 5th summon with Vanity's fiend and watch you squirm

I heard you say this, saw that it was already mentioned in the comments, but triggered me so hard that I must mention it myself. Preparations needs to be fully resolved by the time the opponent activates a trap card or effect for you to rip one card from their hand.

Think the Nibs should come out along with the Terraforming… replace them with 2 Dimensional Fissure and 2 Vanity’s Fiend. Nibiru goes against you if you don’t have Birth or a way to clear your own nib on your field, terraforming just plays into droll. Playing D Fissure does turn off droll and effect veiler so that could be really good for you plus Fissure also makes sure you’re able to special summon off preparations if your opponent outs any of your Kashtira monsters.

Hello, thank you for your video! I play the same decklist except that instead of the 3 nibs I play 2 TTT & 1 called by I'm really "afraid" to play nib bc if I play it I have to have a riseheart or 1 ash in hand to start a combo going second (take out nib with links) otherwise, I'm stuck. And I'm preparing a WCQ, there won't just be fire decks... What do you think is th ebest option ?
@nmrygo6859
@nmrygo6859 4 ай бұрын
I think TTT and called by are really good! I was playing them up until I started playing mourner. If you don’t feel comfortable playing nib i completely understand! There are other high impact handtraps and cards that fill a similar roll as well, especially if you want to keep your handtraps in hand instead of as link fodder. Main deck droll is really good imo. Belle is also fantastic for playing into boards with princess and is also a lv 3 for barone. Veiler is ok but gives you a sick omega line. Main deck cosmic has also felt insane recently but I personally haven’t tested it enough to know if it’s better than just another hand trap. I hope this helps!!
