Ok, here it is coming up on another anniversary, 2024. I wasn't in New York on that day, nor was any loved one. But I remember where i was and what i was doing, and remember watching the events unfold on tv.. for the past week I've been watching documentaries and videos, including the Naudet Brothers film, and have been affected deeply by the senseless loss of life, especially those of the 343. I just want to thank each and every one of them, and ALL the ones that survived. TRUE HEROES. It is now a mission of mine to go to the 9/11 memorial, and would love to speak to and thank some of the Firefighters that risked their lives that day, give them a hug, bring them flowers, cook dinner, bake cookies, anything.. sorry for the rant. But I just needed to say this.. to whoever reads this: God bless you, and may you stay safe, find true happiness and perfect well-being, and I love you with all of my heart. Just so people are aware - hydrants routinely need to be flushed. It helps get old water out of distribution systems. This is not only fun for the kids cooling off, but it helps keep fresh water in everyone's taps. Coming from a water engineer.
