Thanks Stephen. I’m 23 and had it for going on 6 months now. I have found ways to cope thankfully. I can only pray that it doesn’t get worse when I get older, but there’s just no way of knowing. I can’t imagine what it must be like having it in the foreground all the time. Just need to do everything we can to protect our hearing.

I have always found cello very emotional, from my former band I miss my cellist the most, we just moved to different cities, but I've always found the conversations of piano and cello very intimate and emotional. Beautiful snippet

Some people suffer with chronic pain, stress etc, we suffer with noise. Noise is an everyday part of life, the only difference we have is, no control. When we experience noise in normal life we can shut ourselves off to enjoy silence. Us as tinnitus sufferers cannot just switch it off. So, you could argue it’s not the noise that’s the problem, it’s the fact that we have no control over it. Noise is normal, but not having control is not. Once we realise that noise is just noise we can begin to enjoy life. We experience it every day. The birds singing, the traffic, people talking, we don’t get bothered by that so why should we by tinnitus? Cheers guys
