AAAAALLL Day long I've been trying to download the model. After 7 hours downloads were done. BUT it is still not working. Pushed GENERATED... waiting... waiting... *5 hours later* waiting... waiting... waiting. Nothing yet.

man I want to use this sooo badly but when it comes to installing the models, it seems very complex and hard to figure out. Those folders you showed, where do we get those? I'm on github and it's like another language, I can't even find a download button and am not sure what I need to download. Any way to make this more user friendly, and possibly with the models already installed?

When does this release? I was expecting a download link after purchase since you said in the caption "recently released". So I'm a little disappointed. Not a lot of clarity on these details. Also, is this a plugin or a website source? I assumed this is a plugin just like Emergent Drums, so I just asked where the download link is on your discord and someone responded saying this is actually a web application and NOT a plugin which is even more disappointing and misleading since you show a clip of the audio being used in Ableton later in this post. You guys really need to lay out the basic information for your customers. WHAT it is. WHEN we get it. WHERE to access it. There's a lot of confusion and ambiguity here.

Let me guess, if I’ve got one of my homeboys sitting next to me and he calls out a progression then it’s awesome, but if I’m sitting by myself, total writers block, and I ask a program for an idea of a progression, then I’m out of line. Why musicians constantly trying to undercut each other? This is just the newest CMI Fairlight - what you’re doing is a taaaaale as old as tiiiiiime
@durchfahrtru2 ай бұрын
@@pablopicasso3122 what you on about... if you've a writers block, don't make music... everything will sound awful to you. But there so many other ways to generate midi chords or rythems with you own gear/vst's. Music is about connecting with people, learning from others, exploring old stuff and not just typing down "romatic/soul" and hit generate a few times, this is just cheap and lazy. These AI-Sample programms just pushes music to be content and that's what everybody is yapping about. And comparing this to the CMI ... stfu.

Ilik eit, I just noticed allot of AI music sounds a bit glitchy, or noisy.. I may be wrong? is this so?
@gatorgoforth30972 ай бұрын
FFT analysis makes it sound glitchy, the more bands the more smeary the transients. It will get better, for sure.
@voltagetoe2 ай бұрын
yeah, everything to this date sounds like 32 kbps MPEG layer 3 compression artifacts back from early 90s. very poor useless sound quality. i think part of the problem is that AIs don't understand how to analyze and construct stereo sound. for example if AI learns from samples that contain stereo reverb tails, all those tails end up being added to whatever is generated as nasty destructuve noise that doesn't even resemble any reverb anymore.

Any info on the "ethical" source material in datasets? The word is mentioned a lot, so I hope it's backed up by ethical training (own production, people who agreed to have their music used for AI training, etc.)
@plutostube2 ай бұрын
ok fair enough but I give you something to thought about: society agreed on sampling (where samples are used with common sense and not riping off the artists original work) and it can be used without copyright problems, the best example is all hip hop music and Daft Punk for example, they basically become famous and made tons of money with the big help of samples from others people work, right? And in this case you train a model with other people samples BUT generate samples that have nothing to do with the original ones, everything that is output by the model is unique, how you balanced all that?I think world need to become more progressive on all these aspects taking in consideration AI will take over in all the aspects of our society, we don't want eternal lawsuits and tensions. Who will want to buy the original samples that were used in the training of this model anyway will do it even if this plugin exists. ps: I am not affiliate in any way with the makers of this plugin, but I am a musician and a sample maker

@1:40 Solution >> Feature Request: Implement a “Generate Sound Lock” button that retains the original imported sound as a reference for generating variations. This eliminates the need to repeatedly navigate back to instruct the plugin to base the new sound generation on the initial import. For example, upon importing a sound to generate variations, if the first generated sound is unsatisfactory, users currently have to backtrack (hitting the back button) and regenerate. With the proposed lock feature, users can seamlessly generate new variations based on the original imported sound or ‘locked’ sound, streamlining the workflow significantly.

As soon as you dropped in a sample and got variations of it I was sold. That's SO cool and powerful! On that note: Are pads capable of carrying multisamples? As in having diffent samples for different velocities, or having pads round-robin from a few samples for variety. I have other drum plugins that can do that, but combined with the ability to generate variations I can imagine creating a very realistic acoustic kit with this tech.

- Compact view needs a "copy to all pads" function. - The internet connection requirement for sound generation is worrisome, what happens if you decide to stop Audialab or there is a problem with accessing your server? The plugin becomes useless.
