Some of you saying he’ll win the 2026 World Cup are absolutely insane. He was benched at the 2022 World Cup. He won’t even be called up to the team for the 2026 World Cup. Nothing happened. Just a little research shows that the team's players continued to play for the national team years after the loss. Most of the stories like that are invented by tabloids or made up/exaggerated by defectors who get money when they tell outrageous stories about the DPRK (this is a real thing, it is well documented). These stories are picked up by the desperate-for-propaganda American news outlets and spread to the, sadly ignorant, people. Most likely, judging by the fact that the DPRK isn't nearly as bad as the stories make it out to be, and the fact that the players continued to play perfectly fine, is that nothing happened. Or at least nothing exciting happened. There are also Korean players (from the north) who play for foreign clubs.

He got a decent amount of playing time under Setien and literally played extremely well. His number one game in which he stood out was against Atletico Madrid. He was the smallest player on the pitch yet He was one of the best players in that game even though Atletico tried to physically bully him in that midfield yet he stood strong. Yet for some reason after that game his game time was extremely reduced and it went down hill for him at Barca. The number one thing Barcelona has not had is a creative midfield player like him and his passing ability. He is willing to make passes that others just cannot see. I hope Pablo Torre doesn't go down this same path.
