They call this painting technique, but people with computer class in the 2000's know it's actually something to do in MS Paint to pass the time.

Amazing art! But "dragons?" It's difficult to see how huge flying snakes became "dragons" in Chinese mythology. Seems like there was a poor translation somewhere along the way. Maybe there just wasn't an English word for the Chinese term for the creature and dragon was the best they could do.

the Chinese now officially call this creature loong as it represents power, strength, and good luck controlling the weather. the western dragon on the other hand often lives in caves, where they hoard treasure often portrayed as evil characters that attack villages, where Chinese Loong have more close rebalance of unicornish status.

What the f*ck? Racist. Just because it doesn’t match your ideal view on dragons, doesn’t mean it isn’t one. It may not have broad wings and long horns, but try to have a little perspective. Not every creature is limited to just one form.

@@winstonli8445 I see. It would sort of be more like the "Luck Dragon" in the "Never Ending Story" as opposed to their portrayal in "The Game of Thrones" series where they were shown as killing machines burning scores of people to death. Not to mention eating them. Or in "The Lord of the Ring" series of books and movies. Personally, I despise both "The Game of Thrones" and the "Lord of the Rings" series. Anyway, thanks for the information. I still think the Chinese Loong needs a new English name than "dragon" to better describe it and set it apart from the Western concept of dragons. But they have never consulted me on the subject.🐉

@@potatoesyay7763 Racist? Oh great a fanatic who sees everything through "racist" colored glasses. Apparently one can't make a simple comment on some aspect of culture these days without having someone label them as racist for it. At least Winston Li made a helpful comment without getting all butt-hurt about my comment. I can even agree with his analysis of the Western dragon without getting upset about.
