Rebels are a very under rated bike. I loved my old 2000 Rebel

In my experience the bolts (steel) often meld with the aluminium of the bracket and are difficult to get out with danger of bolts rounding off. More wet weather and salty roads in UK I guess dont help!! Perhaps a wee gasket washer between bolt and aluminium bracket can help.

how much torque / nm goes onto the clutch plate bolt, the one with the springs behind?

Clutch Lifter Bolts: 9 ft-lbs (108 in-lbs)

I need help :( I tried pressing down on the brake to wrench out the lock nut but it keeps turning :( Any tips? The bike is not on a stand, its on the ground. It’s also in 5th gear. What am I missing? :(

Keep it in fifth gear. Method 1: Find a friend to hold the bike and engage the front and rear brakes. Method 2: Stick a large pipe or wooden stick through the rear wheel spokes at the swing arm to stop the wheel from turning. Be careful not to bend the spokes. Hope one of these methods work for you! ...and about an hour ago I just installed my tailight guards in less than 30 minutes, no issues, thanks to your info. ....NOT thanks to the manufacturer. ( No paperwork included, download from website, pics don't even fit the same model or brackets. )

I’ve been called a stalker simply because I’m socially awkward and smart. I expressed interest, she wasn’t interested, I went about my business and didn’t talk to her again. But she got annoyed and asked me why I didn’t try to win her over, I said I didn’t see a point if she’s not interested, she either is or isn’t. So she spread rumors I was stalking her.
