Using Luxpower SNA5000, and 2 Hubble AM-2 batteries, the handbook of Luxpower does not expressly detail the CAN buss wiring. Is the Inverter connected IN SERIES in a RING FEED configuration with the 2 or more batteries?

Our inverter can work with 48/51.2V battery, if you use batteries in series, please ensure that the total voltage of the battery system is equal to 48/51.2V. Anyone to answer.. I have a leupower inverter and a elf bulb lithium battery.. When the installer installed he told me the communication cable doesn't matter and it is not necessary he did not put it on.. Everything is working but the inverter doesn't show battery % and on battery type it shows lead acid.. Can i change these options on the inverter without the communication..cabble will there be any problem?

I want my Luxpower to charge the battery to 100% and then continue using the grid only. However, whenever it gets to between 90% and 100% it starts using the battery even when the grid power is working.

I've just got in a LuxPower for repair. Seems pretty much the same circuit board as a Voltronic. IGBTs blown plus the optocoupler. Dang! Will you be able to supply a circuit diagram (component level)?

Additionally, since these products have many similar functions, it is normal for the circuit boards to look similar. However, we still cannot provide the design diagrams of our circuit boards. @@LUXPOWERTEK Many thanks for your reply. Customer scrapped the unit and bought another brand of inverter where repairs are possible. Not your fault but luxpower just went to the very bottom of recommended brands. But thank again for replying.

This is great content and one of the best explanation of how a hybrid or grid-tie inverter with Zero export enable or sell back disabled functions, 28:05 to 31:49 very good question and detailed answer! To sum it up basically the CT’s tells the inverter the load going into the main panel and it will back-feed the main panel with only that amount of energy (if it can) and the rest of your PV power is turned down if you do not have batteries or your batteries are full, your arrival only produce the amount of energy the inverter calls for to feed or back-feed your loads.

Thank you for the information. However, I have a challenge of not being able to take my laptop to sight to do these types of settings. I would really appreciate it if you guys did a video where we the installers can learn to set up these programs on the inverter rather than using an app. With your competitors, we are able to do the settings online. For example Growatt, Deye and Sun-Sync we can do the settings on the inverter then the client is the one that can monitor and make changes according to their preferences and understanding. With Luxpower it seems as of everything is done remotely which is tedious for some of us.

Hi Sir, Thank you for reaching out. Regarding your first question, we have designed a 4kW limit per MPPT due to heat management requirements. If the power exceeds 6kW per MPPT, the inverter will operate at a higher temperature, which can damage the unit. Therefore, we limit the PV power input per MPPT to ensure safe and efficient operation. For your second question, if you connect a total of 4.65kW input to PV1, our inverter will automatically limit the input power to a maximum of 4kW.

A year ago I spent quite a bit of money installing the Luxpower batteries. However, I now regret it. They do not live up to their promise for one reason. The controller - Luxpower controller - is far too sleepy. It takes up to a minute or more before it considers switching. My records show that it really sleeps on the job. This costs a lot of money. Avoid!

Based on your description, it seems you might be referring to our inverter. Could you kindly share your location and the inverter's serial number (SN) with us? We will check the status of your inverter and provide assistance. For Luxpower inverters, the typical on/off switch time is around 20 milliseconds.

What happens if the load is greater than the maximum output of the inverter? Let's say I turn on my heater which is 6.4kw. Will the inverter shutdown to protect itself, or will it shift to supply from the grid?

Hi Sir, Our inverters can withstand loads up to 1.1 times the rated power connected to our EPS ports, so a 6.4kW heater can be brought up if you choose to use our 6K inverter
