30lbs of sand is heavier than 30lbs of iron or rubber weights because sand molecules are so small and also have a lot of space allowing for more molecules

Luke, I have been watching your videos and obviously you are a very strong individual to be able to swing 100 lb sandbags. If you don't mind me asking, what is your height/weight and how long did it take you to get to this stage ? I have recently acquired a 20 lb kettlebell and plan to use it to learn kettlebell swings, it is quite tough and I haven't worked out in years.
@SandbagSquad.7 ай бұрын
Hey man, I’m 5’9 188 pounds. I’ve been lifting consistently for about 6 years. I like to switch it up so a lot of different styles/ forms of lifting throughout those years. 20lb kettlebell will take you pretty far, once something is too easy with 2 hands go to doing stuff with 1 hand

How many sets and reps, how long to rest?
@SandbagSquad.10 ай бұрын
It depends on what I’m going for, this workout I’m focused on muscular endurance so about 20-30 reps 4 sets and limited rest time like less than a minute.

Looks like its harder in the sand than grass. I tried it in the sand for 2 day and could land a sigle one. The closest I got was touching the ground with one hand. i might try it on the grass. Hopefuly my neck will be alright and Ill get the height I need.
