I like the look and design but it's kinda big and heavy. I'm a backpacker so that could be an issue . I need something small and light weight. Great video though! Thank you!

Our little Burg, here in Kentucky inherited a 28 acre piece of land. I was on the city council when this happened and we set aside funds to make a walking/riding path through it. That was 5 years ago and then I moved out of the city limits and nothing has been done since then. I guess I will have to get on the toes of the new council!!!

LOVE NEW TOOLS!!! I spent a few decades in an industrial setting, measuring everything from feet, inches and my last job, running a Scanning Electron Microscope where I measured samples to about 10,000x but could go to 180,000x. You are measuring "this for that" but you might want to get a calibrated standard. I am a reloader and I have to be precise in measurements. But then calibrated standards still need to be certified. Rabbit Hole!

Thanks Joe, I'm a newbie to your channel, came through your old video on sizing a Greenland paddle, which is clear and very helpful. Your garage workshop looks great for the kind of work you do. I didn't see anything that was too big for the work and hence taking up too much space! I'd be interested in your opinion on what the cross section of a Greenland paddle blade should be; since the stroke involves angling the blade through the water, there is lift and drag involved. So maybe some kind of 'aerofoil' section is appropriate. But what kind has proved useful in your experience? Maybe you've already done a video on that?

I have a question for you: Does the fly just lay on the (center) ridge pole? Or are there little pockets built into the fly that the ridge pole slide into and connect them? I know for a fact that the instructions are identical (i.e. indeterminate) on all of them but the 3+ and 4+ El Caps have the pole connected to the fly but on my 2+, the fly isn't directly attached.
