Hello! Love all your videos from your channels. I’ve been waiting for some time now to purchase the table hardware from you but it looks like you discontinued it? If so could you share a link to the car door hook/rope adjuster? Please and thank you!

It doesnt seem like you are making these kits anymore. Would you be willing to share what those hooks are, and where I can buy them so that I can make my own? I love this idea. I would also be happy to buy one from you, if you ever make one again.

I am wondering about that too. Thinking of looking on Amazon for cargo hooks for rooftop bags. Looks similar. www.amazon.com/Rightline-Gear-100600-Replacement-Carriers/dp/B007WR25KW/ref=sr_1_31?dchild=1&keywords=cargo+hooks+for+roof&qid=1626134297&sr=8-31

Hey.. What does the X pattern with the plastic chord do for support, especially if the main black fabric in the middle is not elastic/stretchable? Other than hanging a wet towel etc as you mentioned in the video?

Individual magnets may look practical but in reality bugs are notorious for finding the smallest of holes to get in to get to your blood. Best is to make templates of the windows you like to cover, use the screen, some glue and these magnet sheets (used to put ads on to stick to cars and vans) cut the sheets in half an inch strips and hem these into the custom made screens... a stiffer (metal) strip can be used for the bottom of the screen to tuck in or behind the lower inside window rubber...strips of magnetic material (again this flexible plastic/magnetic metal sandwich stuff will seal better the individual magnets (obviously) Hemming and/or glueing prevents you have to deal with the screen sewing (which could pose a bit of a challenge, though using a thin masking tape could help while sewing. The tale can be removed if the yarn used is strong enough (find high strength polyester yarn for this job)

Home depot, lowes, or order online. If you also look up some bob wells u tube video on cheap way to make car screens. He has a white beard. The no see-um screen is supposed to keep out those tessie type bugs. They dont let as much air as regular screening. But the Nomads and rv ers say this method works. They take duck or gorilla tape to keep screens from fraying and when you fold up tape or match sides you put all the magnets in between the " hem" you made...this man didnt cut the screen to fit he just stuck it up....💐

Looks like a great place to drape a wet bath towel, that'll also serve as a curtain! Very multi-use, and seems to be the best option out there, given it can be put away so small

This is your company! Good job. Why not include the wood? Shipping? I might have to wait to get it til I get a drill. I like that it takes up less space in the car, and doesn't get dirty on the ground.
@kamchatkagear604
@kamchatkagear604 6 жыл бұрын
Yes, shipping is one of the big issues. It would be very expensive to ship something like this. For the price of shipping, you'd actually be able to buy a cheap drill from somewhere like Walmart or Harbor Freight. The second big issue is that I don't have the equipment to make table surfaces the way that I'd like, even if I could ship them. The piece of wood here is actually a cutting board. Instead of me buying the cutting board and then having to charge a mark up in addition to the hefty shipping fee, it just makes more sense to buy the board yourself. Also, this way people can make the table surface as large or small as they want. I have ideas for a much more compact table surface, but that will require a lot of testing and experimentation, and even if it does work out, I don't see it being available in the store anytime in the next year. Thanks Bobby. -Tristan

Nice that it's mesh. You can see what is in it as well as let it breathe in case their is a small amount of moisture still on it from washing.
@kamchatkagear604
@kamchatkagear604 6 жыл бұрын
The mesh works really well. Keeps everything organized, but like you said, any moisture still on the utensils can still easily dry off. I'm biased, of course, but I really like this thing :)

Is there enough extra velcro if you wanted to loop it all the way up and around the grab handle? I don't know if that is even necessary.
@kamchatkagear604
@kamchatkagear604 6 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, I can't think of a case in which that would be necessary, but yes, I believe it's long enough to do that if you want to.
