The frame itself isn’t bad. That’s the only thing that’s not total garbage. The move here is to buy the bike strip it down and build it back up if you got decent parts laying around then sell all the stock components to people that are stupid enough to buy this bikeand keep it stock. They are going to need them as they’re constantly breaking these cheap parts. I don’t think you guys realize how cheap the bearings are in this thing.. headset bottom bracket wheel bearings is there any chance those things are gonna last more than a year or two? You will drop the cost of the bike repairs after a couple years if you’re riding this thing hard. Especially if you’re a heavier rider, you’d be a fool to think you’re gonna go out and shred single track on this thing without destroying it quickly.
@chickensendies18 сағат бұрын
@Bikes0420 Obviously this bike is not made for "shredding" single track... Sure, I did it for giggles, but this is for road miles and gravel riding, and it is absolutely fine for that stock. If people want to go out and upgrade every part on it, they sure can. It is their money and can do as they please. The stock components on the bike are fine, and after many miles on mine they are still functioning no issue. In many of the groups I'm in, theirs have been fine too 😁 Appreciate the comment and ride on 😉

LOL bike snobs putting down a bike they’ve likely never ridden and accusing you of being bought by walmart. Your facial expressions are hilarious! I bought the 44cm and at 5’4” with a 28.xx” in seam it rides nice. I bought the 50cm also and it felt a bit big so I returned that one. Overall, I like the gearing, shifts well enough, rear derailleur needed a bit of adjusting, brakes squeal like a mother (at times), but I don’t think it’s a bad bike at all and it might even be underpriced! Just picked this bike up and absolutely love it. I'm a mountain biker and my expensive enduro is not what I want to be taking out for fitness rides around my city when I can't get to the trails. For 250$ bucks this was a great fill in bike for those times and the weight doesn't bother me, since i'm used to riding heavier mtbs any way. Had to do a bit of a tune up from the store, so maybe not the best for someone with no mechanical knowledge, but outside of that I haven't found anything wrong with it. Also cut the seat tube post in half to save a little bit of weight since it's SO long.

I bought a baloney 38 with 180 mm of travel for giggles it came with foam rings and half decent Teflon lined bushings, it's a still a non serviceable damper cartridge and the air side had stuff lying on the air piston seal head but the really improved a ton since the dirty inside first inverted fork I got two years ago, still not up to par with RST or suntour QC but they might come to Rock shox judy levels in a couple of years 😂
@LaurentiusTriarius2 күн бұрын
I must add if you order the 38 version and it develops extreme sticktion issues after a ride or two bushing might be out of alignment 😂 ask seller for a replacement... Also the ports behind the legs on the lowers are NOT bleed ports they are just filling entry point for fork oil. For best results use 20 to 25 ml of yamalube S1 (5wt) type suspension oil after cleaning and moisturizing the foam ring, 38 flangeless skf low friction seals do fit (MTB-38FN)
