Excellent Restoration Mr. Bill! I don't think I've seen something like this on KZfaq before. Very Cool! Don't need it and no place to put it? That's no reason not to keep it.😅. My wife puts that water stuff in my beer fridge sometimes..

Thanks George! It's already found a new home with my sister's granddaughter! I used to have a beer fridge in the garage but alas no longer. I just like to do random stuff like this that I have never done before - that's half the fun for me - working with tools and learning things. I'm still learning even at my age!

Those older units are much better than the ne ones IMO. For the most part, newer appliances are disposable and overpriced. They also don't last as long. I'd say it was worth the repairs and upgrades you did. Looks good too! Nice job!

Hey Bill. My grandson returns in July from 3 years overseas. (Son took after me and is active duty). I cant wait to get him in the shop for some tool time! Maybe one day he will be a sparky!?! Great video and thanks!

A great looking set of pliers mate. I have a weakness for shiny tools and yours is done perfectly for a user tool. Not over the top so you don’t want to use it. It’s done just right where a quick buff will bring it back to restored condition if it’s been hard used. I love that you are passing on your knowledge to the younger generation. I am doing the same at present with one of my granddaughters who is interested in what I do. Take care mate. Nice work.

That looks great Mr Bill. I hadn't heard of Sunbeam drills until about 2 months ago when i came across one in a thrift store. It was unusual so i did what any tool hoarder would do and brought it home with me. It works great but it didn't come with the nice case like yours. I guess I'm just going to have to keep an eye out for a case so i can restore the drill and case together.
