It doesn't matter if ppl say he wasn't the best. Few teams have had players like Carra or Stevie. In fact their generations had what I see as the last of their kind. Like aside of those two, you had Lampard, Scholes, Neville, and so on. Players that were more important than just their skills. I've heard players say they hated to play Carra. Cause he was brutal to meet. Stingy like a wasp. I can remember he have also said he punctured his (I think it was his) lung, and finished the match, and i don't doubt it... Cause that was how players was when we grew up, right! I wish kids got to experience such players themselves today. What they mean. It's interesting, cause Liverpool are so good now, but many of my top LFC players are still the once I grew up with. Even if many are far from the skill lvl as todays squad. Just great players!

He stopped after that CL. He was fast,stronger than his size and great timing. Not the best but one of the best at the time.
