I hope you share some more of their music. "Feels" is one people really like, and "For Us...For Me" goes from sultry to hard rock ballad, a great song that shows their range.

The guitarplayer from the solo is Timo Somers, one of the most talented dutch guitarplayers, he is playing a Aristides model 070, 7 strings, Aristides is a dutch guitarfactory, they produce handmade guitars,. This guitars are unique because they are made of composite material named Arium.

Brittney , and her band Unleash the Archers, are out of Vancouver Canada. "Fate of Man" is a song from one of Arjen's other projects ,Star One, which feature her on vocals. This performance was at the Ayreon live concerts last September in The Netherlands, the video for "The Sixth Extinction' that you watched a few months ago ,was also from this show. In other songs, she sang Floor's parts. (Concert was a few weeks before Floor had her daughter). Brittney was Arjen's first choice to do so, that says quite a lot. Live beneath the Waves is the title of the DVD which released recently, I got a copy, autographed by Arjen.🤘🤘 After getting into the liquor again yesterday, Bonesy gets checked with the luggage, if you even let him go. I do like so much of all Ayreon does. This was fantastic too. I was suspecting Alan Parsons was what was the thoughts were. I’ve watched the whole concert from Columbia and so much of it was Wow. In the past I thought he put together groups but now watching a variety of his videos most are the same people but I don’t know. Ok a rabbit trail off of this great song , group, singers. This just didn’t disappoint in any way. If they ever wander through it would be a must go. Great response/comment to this, but that’s to be expected too. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏

2nd time seeing this, watched it once before work (yes , I was late LOL). It's a mini movie. I knew it would have something cool in it to open, as Tuomas said beforehand that the song was 8 1/2 minutes and the first chorus wasn't until 3 1/2 minutes in, but WOW, way more than I expected. 🤘🤘Going to take quite a few views to catch all the details. You're not the only one that said Floor was hard to hear, saw a comment on the original video this morning saying the same thing. Wolf , you said you wanted an insect named after you, well.... A Wolf Tick is a parasitic creature on the moon of Pandora in the Avatar universe. 😛 Bonesy got into the liquor cabinet again, didn't he. 😞. Really should try to get him to go to AA. LOL

Hey Sue Sue! I found a song called Started A Fire by 7000apart and it features Tommy Johansson. He plays guitar a little bit in it. He's at the very end of the song, but it really is him in all his glory. Robin

Out of respect for the band, I ask those who watched only this reaction to see the song also on Nightwish's official channel.

Notice all. This is very first song, compsed entirely and just by new group. Every other song from past is composed different singer, drummer, basist etc and songs is less or more compromise (If you don't listen very first original studio version). But this one is first and yet only one, which is composed and produced directly to Floor and Troy (Singers), Jukka (Basist) and Kai (Drummer). Looks like a James Bond-movie intro :)

This song has a Imaginaerum flavour (without Troy part). Makes me interested in this upcoming album.

I think as I learn and memorize the lyrics, that will not be an issue at all, because then I'll be able to "hear" them better. 🤷‍♂

In April 2023, the band announced that it will stop touring after June for an unspecified period of time. The band retired to make the next album. The album will be released this year, but the band does not plan to go on gigs again after the release. The band says that the break is important. Financially, there is nothing to worry about. I have to correct you on Floor and biology. Floor was interested in biology as a child. But she never studied it (apart from what everybody gets at middle school). I wonder where this video was shot. I seemed to recognise Teyler's museum of natural history and physics in Haarlem (the Netherlands), where I come from. I think it is the oldest museum of its kind in Europe.

Its a great song but made to look a bit chilling, Maria has a forced smile throughout. The lyrics reflect the pain and loss they have suffered since the invasion with the words "do you really want to feel?" This was the one I saw first and completely pulled me in.

The last sentence that this commissar took it on herself to find the crashside of each of 'her girls' always gets me.

Each song of them - until now - is very different: They have a wide variety of song compositions and all are great. They are not sisters. The drummer has founded the band. Because of the Russian war they had to leave Ukraine and are now living in Germany. They were already well known in Ukraine and it's so great that they met again in Germany to continue their journey. Nevertheless, the band members changed sometimes in the past. Read comment of BoringTaff for more details 😅

Love this band and they are so young, today the band who live as refugees in Germany are Kate (15), drums, Polina (16), bass, Sofia (??), keyboards, Anna (21), Lead Guitar and Maria (17), rhythm guitar/vocals. Sofia only recently joined, she replaced 14yo Maya on keyboards (turntable on this video) when her parents returned to Ukraine. That's current ages, this video was made about 2 years ago. They were formed in 2018 by the then 9 year old Kate, she has her own YT channel, since about 7, where she did drum covers, she started playing as a guest with adult bands and wanted to start her own band, as there were no kids in her area, her dad advertised for musical girls and the band were born, initially 6 girls, so they seen themselvese as six sisters in music (Sixsters). When the war broke out they numbered 7 as official band members, Kate's home, where they had their studio, was destroyed in the bombing, after that most girls families fled the Country. Five of the 7 met up in Germany about 5 months after the war started and resumed the band, since then 2 have returned to Ukraine with their families, both replacements are Ukrainian refugees. They have just released their second album since they have been refugees, most songs are in English. They also have one Ukrainian language album from before the war. Every song is different and everything I've heard has been great. Haven't been so taken with a band since I first heard The Warning 5 years ago.
