I got an unhandled yearling from that buyer. He had strangles and took a month before I could touch him. He is coming along nicely now.

Saddlebreds as a rule aren't ridden in martingales. Why would they? The halter is to loose. Questionable how experienced she is about horses.

Ok, first of all I was there for that, and just because you see a video of someone being aggressive or rude, doesn’t mean we are all like this. And do you even really know what happened or are you just basing your knowledge on a 10 second clip?

His dumbass standing in front of horse, gets hit in the head, then his ego freaks out. That’s a dangerous man right there. No emotional maturity whatsoever. So sad

I mean you can’t control an animal in heat.. if you wanna actually train him, put him in a round pin with pressure and release training instead of just standing there yanking on his face.. that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are only two lots that have USDA slaughter tags to ship horses Bowie & North Texas Feedlot. They are the only ones with USDA slaughter tags It’s public information on the USDA website. No other kill pen can ship straight to slaughter.

You left out the part where the horses don't eat it until they've wasted 70% by stomping it into the soil and urinated and/ or defecated in said hay... _then give you hangry/ sad faces_ Good times! 👍👍

I'm so glad he's getting so much backlash. This is terrible and he has no business teaching riders or training horses if he has to go to these levels. I wish the horse had backed up and kicked him in the head like what happened to Christine Wells. Beat a horse (that's not yours) ...pay the consequences

I love how you show what you can do with a budget horse, budget saddle, bridleless.....The tacklers riding has been fantastic and really exciting to see! BUT what happens when the horse does spook and flip out or bolts and your outside? I thi know it's a wonderful way to train in an arena but not alone and only if you're legs and seat are strong enough to offer the commands and the horse is at a level they understand them. Anyway, just been seeing a lot of tacklers riding and it's great! I worry about their safety (has nothing to do with your video, just a thought). But what a wonderful way to obtain a great leg and seat. It's how I learned to ride and acquired my strong leg and seat and my instructor had me posting with a dollar bill between my calf and my horse without dropping it 3 times around the length of the lunge line with my arms out to the sides. If I dropped the dollar or my arms didn't stay level with my shoulders I'd gave to go around again. I was 8. It taught me so well. I hated it lol!

Wouldn't going bitless with a bridle be a nicer step to take instead of the other way around? They have amazing bitless bridles. I love the direction you're going though. Is this leather bit super gentle? I'm just curious. I had to stop riding 20 years ago due to a serious medical condition so all thus bitless and bridleless riding it sort of new to me. I mean we had hackamores before but they weren't very kind 🤷 Some of these things I wonder about. How gimmicky they are or if they're authentic and a gentle alternative 🤔

Not a horse's response Well to A bit less bridal, some do better. It depends on the horse. The bridal she's using, which is called a war bridle just allows the horse to have its head. I'm assuming the leather is OK for her mouth.

No bitless often puts way too much pressure on the nasal bone which is paper thin and since horses are nasal obligates its often too much pressure and damages their breathing if they get startled suddenly bitless is not always better. Im seeing lots of horses with owners often obsessed with bitless bridles needing breathing nasal strips when they are young.

Wow!!!!!! Thank you for saving this beautiful horse's life! He is clearly exactly where he belongs and you're clearly exactly who he needs. You two look incredible together! I can't stop replaying this and smiling and it brings tears to my eyes. I turns an abused barrel racer around like this and with a lot of time and work and patience we were one of 4 chosen to compete in the US National Eventing championships in Kentucky representing Colorado. All she wanted was to show how great she could be. She loved to jump so much, especially cross country. She'd get wrinkles around her nostrils when we were preparing for our cross country turn. She was a powerhouse. 14.3h jumping 5 feet. Sometimes they just need to be saved by the right person. I started on her when I was 8. We took home an individual first place at nationals by the time I was 14 and I was showing nearly every weekend in eventing. I looked up this breed because it was my first time hearing of them. I'd love to know more about them if you can tell me. Are they used in saddle seat or horse and buggy shows? Do they get abused by stacking of their shoes like Saddlebreds or soring and the cutting of the tail tendons/muscles for them to hold their tail up and off to the side? They seem like they could be pulled into those terribly abusive "styles" of riding. They use them up and send them to slaughterhouses. I am just so happy to see how beautiful and happy and healthy he is with your love and care. You're both so lucky! ❤❤❤❤❤
