What do you know about the Mosaic? Does it get loud on Fridays in that area. Love the area, very interested in moving, but I work from home and need some quietness. I forgot to ask about tennis. I love tennis and I need to live close to an area where I can play and take lessons.

Mosaic is very low key. They do have music on the lawn every Friday evening during the summer, but it is a family event and does not go late. You won't hear the music unless you are living in the apartments in Mosaic. Chatham Park has pickleball courts and there is a brand new YMCA being built, but there are not many other options in Pittsboro that I am aware of. What about water contamination in the area? Isn’t Haw river contaminated by the Apollo factory chemicals with probable human carcinogens?

That used to be true! The developers of Chatham Park worked with the city to build an updated water treatment facility that benefits the whole town. In MOST of Pittsboro, the water is safe. I would still never go swimming in Haw River though...

That totally depends on your budget! There are good and bad builders in any price range.. I have a ton of tours on my channel and would never post one without trusting the builder. We live in Mebane, moved from CA , and love living here! Nice video except I don’t think photos for the local restaurants are accurate. I would LOVE to have some of those restaurants in Mebane, sadly I think those are in other nearby cities. Keep up the good work though 😊

Your video was very informative and helpful to me. I was debating on Raleigh or Charlotte for about a year now and the way you broke down everything, has helped me to make a final decision on where I’d like to relocate to. I love nature and I want to get back into biking, fishing, walking trails and just enjoying nature. The city life is just to chaotic for me so, charlotte was going to be a bit much. But yes Raleigh wins for me!!!!🎉🎉

Yes, absolutely! I have had a lot of small families move to the Raleigh area because it is much more affordable. Especially if you are open to one of the surrounding towns (Fuquay Varina, Wendell, Etc.)!

DR Horton does not currently have a "build on your lot" program, unfortunately. I have had other clients go though that process with other builders and I would be happy to help you through that process as well! I take full advantage of Pro 2, Pro 4, & Pro 5 while living in Raleigh. Yes, the traffic & cost of living are cons that I feel here, and those two didn't really exist here until the mid-late 2010s. The weather here is actually quite enjoyable throughout the year if you love warm weather. Yes, it gets cold on occasion but those cold snaps are fairly short. The best things I like about living in Raleigh is the nice people, the nice weather, the variety of things to do, & Cook-Out. I love me some Cook-out burgers & fries.

This highly depends on location (property taxes) and interest rates, but generally it would be close to $3000- $3300 including all of your taxes. There are some great ways to get the interest rate down to lower your payment. Yes, builders generally increase the price of the floor plans as they build more of the neighborhood. The earlier you can get into a neighborhood the better deal you get!

It will appreciate significantly! The new development is just starting in Pittsboro and is actually lower priced than a lot of other suburbs. Chatham park is about 1/5 completed. There are also several huge corporations moving to Pittsboro in the next couple of years, plus a very large UNC hospital campus. It is still early to get into the Chatham Park market.
