My (German) oven has two different settings: Umluft (Convection) and Heißluft (hot air). The latter ist what you described as European convection. You can clearly see from the symbol on the knob which heating element is turned on on which setting. I like to use Heißluft for anything I would also make in an airfryer like potato wedges because the hot air makes stuff really crispy and Umluft for things that benefit from some more direct heat like frozen Pizza.

I like the math, but a fridge or appliance that only lasts 4 or 5 years is really bad for the environment. I agree it saves electricity but rubs mang more hours so the compressor technology just isn't better today. A tradeoff between savings and disposing of appliances every 5 years or so. Not all are worth fixing just buy new is a bad deal for the planet. Correct me if I am wrong.

I tried washing with vinegar five times, then used baking soda separately, used bleach three times, and washed with washing machine cleaner as well, but the odor is still there. Well, came here looking for a high capacity fridge that seems to be highly reviewed. Samsung really screwed the pooch by putting the water filter right there in the middle, they could have made that space a can drawer, enough to fit a 12 pack in or something similar and utilized room in the top of the fridge for the filter where the tops of items aren't taking up space.
