Excellent. I’ve been sprouting for decades. I must admit I made a dressing for my sprout earlier with walnuts and sesame seeds. Oh and nutritional yeast. I only soaked for 6 hours. All yummy. Thank you for the chart. ❤

Best vegan yogurt video. But why do you peel the almonds? I make almond milk all the time... but I have never peeled them. Just curious if it's necessary?

I was at the Dentist the other day and between shots and drills I did body scan practices to reduce the stress and it truly worked. I was able to focus on different body parts alleviating some of the stress. It wasn't the ideal situation or circumstance but It was a great deviation from the dentist "tender" efforts.

You know what? I'm really impressed by how you used those body scan techniques at the dentist. It takes a lot of presence and awareness to be able to focus inward like that, especially with all the distractions and discomfort of dental work. It's not the most zen environment, that's for sure! I love that you were able to find a bit of calm amidst the chaos and give yourself some much-needed TLC. That's what mindfulness is all about - finding those moments of peace and clarity wherever we can. And hey, if it makes those dental visits a little more bearable, that's a huge win in my book! Thank you for being so open and sharing your experience. It's a beautiful example of the power of this practice and how it can support us through life's challenges, big and small. I'm honored that the videos could play a small part in bringing more mindfulness to your day. Keep shining and smiling (but maybe wait until the Novocain wears off!). 😉

Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is just... be. Be present, be vulnerable, be unapologetically ourselves. In a world that's always telling us to hustle harder, be better, do more - there's a radical power in simply showing up as we are. So today, how about you to take a pause. To honor your story, your struggles, your triumphs. To look in the mirror and say, "I see you. I'm proud of you. Keep going." Because the thing is, we're all just learning as we go. Figuring it out, one messy, beautiful step at a time. And the more we can lean into that - the uncertainty, the imperfection, the realness of it all - the more we give others permission to do the same. So here's to showing up, even when it's hard. To loving fiercely, dreaming boldly, and never, ever giving up on ourselves. You've got a light inside you that the world needs. Just keep letting it shine. 💞

Love this video! First learned about using dandelion root and chicory root for fake coffee alternatives after getting a fake coffee tea from one of the local cafes near me. Love getting my own ingredients to mimic the experience with that tea and mixing them together in a warm drink for the evening along with a sweetener and some cocoa powder (it's great for having something that tastes like coffee in the evening, but without the dehydration that decaf coffee would give). Calming reishi mushrooms are also great optional additions! ^^

Hey , I m an ardent coffee fan. Can u plz lemme know which of these substitutes are closely identical to coffee. ❤

As an ardent coffee fan myself, I understand the quest for the perfect substitute. Lately, I've been enjoying Kicking Horse Decaf. When I made this video a couple of years ago, it was tough finding a good organic decaf since most were chemically processed. But this one is not only organic but also tastes great - it's as close to the real coffee experience as I've found among substitutes. I have no affiliation with the brand; I'm just a fan of the product. It's a fantastic option if you're looking to reduce caffeine without losing that coffee flavor we all love! Kick coffee decaffeinated with Swiss Water Process. geni.us/RPUEYjA

This is an easy immersive meditation suitable for all experience levels. You will need a safe and quiet space where you can be comfortable and relax for at least 20 min. You will be lying on your bed, floor, or wherever you feel safe and comfortable. You can cover yourself with a blanket or put a pillow under your knees. See you there 🙏🏻

I'm truly sorry to hear you're going through this pain. It's one of the hardest things, feeling those dreams and connections just slip away, leaving such a void. I wish I had the words to ease the hurt, but please know, you're not alone in this. It does hurt like hell, and it's okay to acknowledge that pain, to feel it deeply. With time, I hope you find some peace and healing, even if it seems impossible now. Though I've found some peace myself, I'm still grieving. It's a different kind of grief now, you know... Your feelings are valid, and your experiences matter. Take care of yourself. 💕

Thank you for the good instructions, I’m trying this right now, wish me luck it’s in the microwave for fermentation. I didn’t have kuzu so I’m using arrowroot till it arrives. I haven’t looked yet but have you tried chickpea, that was the one I’ve been making and I didn’t need a thickening agent it got thick when it was put on the stove
@positivepranic
@positivepranic 5 ай бұрын
Thanks for trying out the recipe and for your inventive spirit! Using arrowroot as a stand-in for kudzu is a clever move while waiting for the latter to arrive. Arrowroot should still aid in thickening, although it may have a different texture and thickening behavior compared to kudzu. Arrowroot might not yield the same thickness as kudzu due to its singular jelling strength and texture. Kudzu is unparalleled in its thickening abilities and its added health benefits make it irreplaceable in this recipe. While arrowroot is a great thickener in its own right, the final product will likely be less thick and may not have the same healing qualities. It’s wonderful that you're experimenting, though! Experiences like these are valuable for understanding the unique properties of each ingredient. Keep us updated on your results - it’s all part of the culinary adventure!

If I only have lemon but not salt, can the salt alone help with this process? Is there a particular type of salt that is best? Thanks
@positivepranic
@positivepranic 5 ай бұрын
The Role of Salt Enhances Water Penetration: Salt can help soften the hard outer layers of grains and legumes more efficiently, allowing water to penetrate more effectively. This softening process reduces cooking time and can improve texture. Mineral Availability: A pinch of salt can slightly alter the pH of the soaking water, which may aid in the breakdown of phytic acid, a natural substance found in plant seeds. Phytic acid binds to minerals such as calcium, iron, and zinc, making them less available to our bodies. Reducing phytic acid can therefore increase the bioavailability of these minerals. The Role of Lemon Juice Acidic Environment: Lemon juice, being acidic, further assists in breaking down phytic acid. The acidity can help to initiate the breakdown of enzyme inhibitors present in these foods, which can otherwise interfere with our digestive enzymes and make digestion more difficult. Enhances Nutrient Absorption: The acidic medium can also promote the conversion of some nutrients into more bioavailable forms. For example, it can increase the availability of certain antioxidants and vitamins. Promotes Beneficial Fermentation: Although not fermentation in the traditional sense, the slight acidity from lemon juice can encourage the growth of beneficial microorganisms present on the surface of these foods. These microorganisms can pre-digest some of the complex sugars, reducing gas and bloating often associated with consuming these foods. Synergistic Effects The combination of salt and lemon juice creates an environment that is not just about softening these foods but also enhancing their nutritional profile and digestibility. The salt facilitates water absorption and mineral availability, while the lemon juice contributes to the breakdown of phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors. Together, they create a more favorable condition for our digestive system and improve the overall nutritional benefits of consuming beans, nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains. I talk more about this in this article - positivepranic.com/8dnv
