This channel is definitely going far. The editing, music, narration, so good man. The EOS RP is an incredible camera. I love the design but yes, there's some things that are annoying but overall it's great.

Yyoo I appreciate that encouragement! Real talk means more than you know seriously 🙏🏾 Yes the rp I really love the body of it, it feels nice, I really enjoy the photo aspect the most of it! Im a video guy 1st than photo so the video specs I'd had needed to dive in more longer for me to enjoy it even more but for sure it's a great intrey level camera for its budget lol !

I like to think of filmmaking as someone who works directly with film considering how a lot of movies are still shot using film. I think most people on KZfaq are just very good story tellers and good at teaching people information through digital making.

@@Tyski_Ty I feel that every freelancer's start it's filled with suffering and underpaid services, but trust me, you'll eventually reach there (specially you, I already see the quality you produce). 8 years ago I started creating cinematic content with videogames (cinematics, not gameplays), 6 years ago one person wanted to hire me and I charged 30 bucks, now I make MUCH more than that for just a little bit more of the work. Focus on never stop movin', always accept a job and say "yes" and mostly: Stay humble and professional, reputation takes years to build and seconds to lose. Good luck my man.

@alessandrocwilliam yeah thats facts i & appreciate the look out 💯, i surly try to watch out for jobs that makes sense to have that wont burn me out on work for little pay but the grind continues. Ik for sure im better now than where i was 5 yrs ago charging under $150 for video production jobs. So glad we finally leveling up from out years hahaha!

Great tips...and just reminds me of one more hat solo creators or small crew creators have to wear: Locations Manager! Luckily cinema cameras are getting smaller and smaller and we can guerilla shoot more spots... but, you're right, it's always safer just to pull permits. Great vid!

Good video! I say it’s a good problem to have: if you need a permit, you’re doing something more substantial than the average and likely getting paid or expecting to get paid (once distribution is in place). For me, I’m a solo KZfaqr and most of my venues are public car shows where people are thankfully expected and encouraged to shoot videos and take photos.

Honestly, there's so many words with synonyms in the english language that it becomes overwhelming educating or correcting some one about it 😮‍💨 Honestly i just use simple & longer direction of word choices to get my point across & away from bigger most needed broken down words 😆🙃

Every shot I thought the Sony was on the right until the last shot. I could tell which was M 4/3. Other than that, you can’t really tell unless you know what to look for. As always it’s about the camera user, not the camera itself.

Yesterday I had a shoot and needed a b-camera right away, so I ended up pairing the GH5 with the FX3 (same sensor as a7SIII). Both shot with 10bit and log gamma. I love the GH5, been using it for almost 6 years, but when I start cropping-in to these shots, the FX3 shots hold up SO MUCH BETTER than the GH5. In the GH5 I could see a ton of noise at ISO400, compression artifacts, harsh highlight rolloff, and muddy skin detail. The FX3 shots looked rock solid enlarged to 250% at ISO800. No visible grain, deep color detail all around. Grading FX3 footage in S-Log3 was super quick. Grading V-LogL footage from the GH5 is usually a little tricky even though I set custom white balance on both cameras. Using a color picker, I could tell that the GH5 was more accurate with cool tones and FX3 more accurate with warm tones, especially skin tones. But with some work I was able to match them at least in terms of color.

Awesome video man. I love the definitions and it's something I'm struggling to define myself. I'm not a big fan of the word "content" though. This video is content. A TikTok of some dude farting in the wind is "content". There's a clear difference. When I worked in TV, we called everything we did "creative". A TV promo would be creative. An IG reel would be creative. Creative creator? Doesn't really vibe.

Nowadays I feel like I am filmmaker more than a videographer because I am always involved with every project I have done from beginning to end. I never saw myself as cinematographer because I don't command a team. I am a videographer per se but I do lighting, audio, storyboards, everything. So I can't say I am just a videographer. So filmmaker fits me just fine.

I feel that 💯, when i hit 500 subs about 1½ yr ago i was barley evenening out the youtube app but thats mainly because i still was in process of understanding the deep process of my analytics! I don’t think a film maker at a wedding is only limited to shooting what happens, they can also have an input in giving some direction on the day. Also I find content creation limited, maybe you’re a visual story teller, a visual artist
