Good Information. What is your experience regarding the wrinkles and shrinkage of clothes?
@SandhillCaptain
@SandhillCaptain 15 күн бұрын
I can't speak to shrinkage (as none has occurred with our clothes) but with wrinkles and the steam functions we have never had to pull out an iron if that tells you anything. If you accidently leave clothes inside after a cycle, naturally they will begin to wrinkle but a quick steam refresh cycle and good to go.

You like to maintain your equipment. I think it would be great if you made videos of your regular maintenance routine, like wiping down the drum and such. Also, a video of cleaning the washing machine filter.

Lg has very reliable front loader. One of the best. I ordered a speed queen combo yesterday after much research. Paid a tremendous amount of money but a good fit for me. Top priority is quality and long lasting reliability. Only time will tell if I spent good money

This is a restricted area just for planes on all harbor water maps Area Alpha is what it is called and boaters are told to stay out of it all together if they can at all help it- these guys thought they were so special that with full visibility they should not pay attention to the FUCKING PLANES boaters are legally permitted to go within the takeoff and landing zone, port authorities ask boaters to keep clear because of the heightened risk THATS GUNNA CHNAGE NOW. Knowing how to read charts is a required part of obtaining a boating license in Canada. Dude in the boat may of had some thin veil of a right of way but he wasn't in his waters and he's not winning the legal battle with a fucking successful airliner these idiots had every chance to see that plane coming and due to some broken ass right of way understanding they didn't take there situation seriously and now they've fucked up this pilots career and hopefully will be paying in full for the plane to harbor air and there amazing service that HAS NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN because people don't want to die like those fucking idiots in the boat.

That boat had to have seen them coming had to have heard them coming. And obviously didn't get out of the way. I've watched a few planes take off in my day and they don't drive around left and right and left and right they stay in a straight line until they get up enough speed to get in the air

ATC warned the pilot of the boat moving and direction when approved for take off. The float plane should yield to the right. This is a restricted area but not sure if boat was prohibited.

The sea plane has a lane to stay on ,the pilot can't see close to the Plane only put farther,the boat sure can,but do you hear that TWANG sound? That's the prop cutting everything to ribbons,plus the plane can't maneuver in the water very well. Rip boaters

Knowledge check! Boat vs Airplane! Who was in the wrong here? Bonus points to anyone that knows the boating Rules of the Road and can correctly identify who carries the majority of fault (each share some degree of fault) Hint: A seaplane in the water is treated just like a boat and is also the "give-way" vessel in the hierarchy. But, that doesn't necessarily mean they are or are not at fault here. Boat hierarchy is NRCFSPSW. If you know what this is referring to, double the bonus points!! New:_____________ Reels:____________ Catch:____________ Fish:___________ So:__________ Purchase:__________ Some:____________ Whenever:_____________ Now, if the seaplane was actually trying to land before the video started, and was and trying to take back off to avoid the collision when the collision happened, does this change your assessment? This accident occurred June 8th 2024 in Vancouver's Coral Harbour.

@liamgrant3555

@@P4ou4 its called area alpha only for planes though boats are allowed they're asked to not go there ever due to risk. This pilot trusted that after 42 years of harbor air that he wouldn't be the second accident to ever happen there. the area is clearly marked on navigation charts, which are available from a variety of sources. Knowing how to read charts is a required part of obtaining a boating license in Canada. Dude in the boat may of had some thin veil of a right of way but he wasn't in his waters and he's not winning the legal battle with a fucking successful airliner

I don’t know how anyone could be in the right or wrong in this situation. I’d think the boater, if he was paying attention could have avoided the collision. I’m not sure what visibility the pilot has from inside the plane but I’d think the boater could see 360…. So if there’s got to be a fault I’d say the boater.
@calvinwaligora8312
@calvinwaligora8312 Ай бұрын
You cannot turn a plane easily like a personal boat can. I've been on water ways that pontoon planes land on and they always are given right of way to and no accidents have happened. The boater is at fault in this clip, because he could have or could have made an attempt to avoid the collision.

13 miles off the coast of West Palm Beach Florida and into the Gulf Stream currents at just over 1000 feet deep, I found this floating rope/ocean garbage. But was was contained below was astonishing. The shadow created below attracts all sorts of marine life from every side of the food chain. It was its own little ecosystem floating around out there and a cool sight to see. Unfortunately, they will have to find a new hangout spot because that rope poses a significant risk to other marine life species as well as to mariners.

I've got the same problem the 3 strand anchor rope was binding up in the anchor well & my son Brannonmate who is an Auto electrician wired up an extra switch by the lewmar winch & so everytime the the 3 strand anchor rope was brought up by the lewmar winch I was able to operate the switch near the lewmar winch & feed the 3 strand anchor rope below the ĺewmar winch & keep pulling down the on the rope with soved the problem & it was annoying doing that & my other son Regan finally brought 8 pailt anchor rope & it is 100 metres & I live in New Zealand & I'm going to tomorrow to a place called Anchor Chain & Rope to have the 15 metres of chain & the 8 plait splced to the chain & once I have that done & bring the anchor chain & rope home tomorrow I been told to have the 8 plait anchor rope wet before going through the lewmar winch because the shop Regan brought the 8 plait anchor rope from said having the anchor rope wet expands going through the lewmar winch I shouldn't have anymore problems with this new 8 Plait Anchor rope as it will fall nicely into the anchor well or anchor locker in our 6.20 Fiberglass Cabin boat it will take the 100 metres of anchor 8 plait rope & 15 metres of chain & once I have got the first amount of new 8 plait rope in the anchor well or locker I have 2 stainless plates & 2 stainless steel bolts that protrude through the hull into the anchor locker & has also 2 stainless steel nuts & slide the new 8 plait anchor rope between the 2 stainless steel plates & tie the rope off a few times & then tighten up the 2 nuts & all good to wind the rest of the 8 plait rope up by the lewmar winch & once amount the correct amount of anchor chain is up I then can bolt the chain to the anchor all good & I shouldn't need to use the other switch near the winch unless the anchor sometimes goes up upside down & that's only then that I have to use the switch near the lewmar winch Kind Regards Peter & my son Regan got the 8 plait anchor rope on special normally NZ $600.00 paid NZ $349.00 which is a good price & it is 12mm thick & I will be putting the 8 plait anchor rope in a big in fill of water before I feed the anchor rope through the lewmar winch & as I as I will be tying the anchor rope off in the anchor well or anchor locker & then proceed witching everything in until I've got enough anchor chain in to bolt the anchor on

Sorry I never responded to such a detailed comment. I haven't been doing too much with KZfaq recently and kinda got put on the back burner. I apologize. Here was my underlying dilema: I considered adding a bow switch as well. There is already an unused connector for a remote in the wiring harness. When this video was made, I was using the vessel recreationally but it was going to be put into commercial service shortly after filming. While adding a remote meant I could help feed the line down into the locker, that would mean though I would have to leave the helm. In a commercial, passenger boat operation, I needed a solution that didn't involve me needing to leave the helm. With a loaded boat full of passengers, primarily on the bow, just gaining timely access to the bow myself was going to be a huge issue. 99% of where I anchor is in 5ft or less but with strong currents and winds as well as being densely occupied by other boats. By adding 30ft of chain, I almost never pay out enough to get to where the chain meets the rope. Now two years later, probably 300 trips involving the use of the windlass to anchor, and I have never had one binding or bunching issue requiring my manual assistance or leaving of the helm. But also, I certainly didn't need the 200ft of 8 plait either because I've never been anywhere deep enough to need to get into it. I do however, run plenty of offshore trips and while I'm running twin engines as a redundancy, if I have a breakdown, I may be happy I have that 200ft. If I were to do it all over again, I would have loaded on 50ft of chain and 150ft of 8 plait. My word of caution in running more than 15ft of chain is that you want to use a snubber. Having all the load on the chain, and the chain going through the windlass while at anchor, puts a lot of recoil load on the windless and mount. If you have rope paying out, the rope itself acts as a shock absorber of sorts. But with all chain, the use of a snubber will prevent damage to the windless, the mounting and the hardware. Fair winds and following seas to ya! -Capt Matt
