David, I have something that may change your views and opinions, relative to this video. Let me know if you’d like to have a discussion, who knows maybe you’ll point out a flaw in what I have. No matter your decision (except in the scenario that what I have is not correct, which I’m thoroughly analyzing in respect to due diligence.) it’s likely you’ll hear about what I’m irking on once it’s published.

This is precisely why American secondary schools have so declined in quality that is the over-emphasis on academics, which required the content to be dumbed down, in tandem with mass abandonment of industrial education largely a consequence of free trade offshoring many manufacturing jobs. And then you had President Obama suggesting that the only way to earn a decent living was by getting a college degree when in fact the most recent expansion of the universities was apparently enabled through the suspect practice of mass grade inflation since in the American system it is the teachers themselves who assign the scores, final exams being largely nonexistent at least in any centralized sense which dictates your class rank. But it is apparent that the current shortage in the skilled trades is the direct result of their loss of prestige.

As an English teacher of colour, I really fear the idea of a national boundary around subjects like English and history. While literature in an English-speaking world is going to be different from that of a French-speaking or Russian-speaking world (etc), the literary canon and the subjects we teach about history have largely been very eurocentric. This isn't useful or helpful because it ignores the fact that the world is cohesive and integrated - it has been throughout history. The contributions of other countries and cultures to British and English-speaking literature and history are often ignored or downplayed. Everyone has a right to know how the contributions of non-European countries have been significant. It's important for so many reasons. For one, it actually helps to curb the spread of white supremacy. It's much easier to be convinced that Europe is the "best" continent when you have no knowledge of the literary, artistic and historical contributions of non-European people, for one. Then there's the fact that we live in an increasingly globalised world where these subjects help us to build understanding and empathy towards one another. I am in no way saying that either Prof. Young or Mr Robinson are implying we shouldn't do this. I'm also not trying to make a "slippery slope" argument. I just want to point out that knowledge of the history, art, literature, music, etc of other cultures can be a profoundly powerful way to add value to our students' lives and education.

I totally agree with what he said about the whole charade of the 'university experience'. It's just a cheap marketing technique to sell you something a university shouldn't be, a way of life. It's only from that perspective that a university can become ideologically driven and not actually challenge your belief if you happen to be a regular left leaning student. University should always be about learning, everything else is mainly up to you not the university.

How many debates did we have in school to even question whether holocaust even happened? Denial of Holocaust is punishable by uo to 10 years of imprisonment in many western countries. Purely becuase it is so nonsensical and so offensive!! But if we are so true in our principles of debate, then lets have denial of holocaust debates. Lets discuss if churchill was also a tyrant like Hitler and stalin, and that the ww1 and ww2 were perhaps wars of politics and between tyrants. Btw, I would not support any of these debates because they are offensive and disrespectful to the war heroes. Why is it so difficult for some liberals and far rights that blasphemous cartoons being taught as a curriculum are offensive to Muslims? Why is that a difficult thing to.understand? Why cause controversy and be divisive? Was it not the same muslims that formed 40% of the british armed forces in ww2? The same people find it offensive to be exposed to such material.

Laws that uphold foolishness should be withdrawn. What if I am a cult member taught to have very thin skinned, all of whom have very genteel sensibilities in regard to body language where if anyone at all bends their arm beyond a certain angle that it would upset cult members greatly that our cult would threaten to commit physical harm to everyone involved? Remind anyone of anything recently like Charlie Hebdo cartoons? Turn the channel, reduce the volume to zero, move physically away sufficiently far, close one's eyes, become more psychologically more grounded in reality that no physical threat to your existence shall beset you if you watch or listen to program material that does not even constitute groundless attacks against your personal character. The seven liberal arts taught to elite students in ancient Greece were called the trivium and quadrivium. Ancient Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, etc, popularized thousands of years ago methods of thinking and inquiry that uncovered truth and distinguished it from lies. Lies are seen by some as mind viruses just like a computer virus that takes over your computer. By using the Trivium, you have an anti-virus for your mind to eliminate lies and damaging ideologies which depend on belief in lies. These liberal arts also take into consideration things called logical fallacies that are used by tricksters using false rhetoric. The term used to characterize these tricksters is sophists who are using sophistry. Rhetoric is language of persuasion. If it is false, then it is using baseless persuasion attempting to say that the audience should believe what is very likely not the least bit factual. Jan Irvin has KZfaq lectures on the Trivium method and some interview with Gnostic Media Tony Meyers. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Zph8paSF2ayrpqc.html Logic, Fallacies, and the Trivium. Tony Myers Interviews Jan Irvin The entire reason why Marxism never worked whenever it was tried was that the various regimes murdered many tens of millions of innocent people--usually the best of their country, the most productive farmers, and such. The reasons why it did this was that the observations, conclusions, prescriptions for economic and societal change did not match up at all very well with actual human behavior, feelings, motivations, and other measurable factors. The entire Marxist enterprise was driven by Karl the ner-de-well according to Thomas Sowell's telling of Karl Marx's biography. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nst3lNOYkpacqXk.html Thomas Sowell: Karl Marx the Man The introduction to a video on Bitchute explains the various ideological movements were created by trouble makers who wanted to create a Utopia on Earth. Utopia means no where. It is an imaginary fantasy land that cannot and does not exist. Comparing reality to a fantasy and expecting it to match up in idealism is utterly foolish. Conservatives have very properly outlined that the mere making of laws shall not change the behavior of people intent on doing criminal acts such as violence with firearms, knives, motor vehicles, explosives, and whatnot. What one needs is that more responsible upstanding people are permitted to defend themselves against criminals because police authorities are often too late to arrive to rescue an innocent person from violence. And, lately, if you didn't already know, the brainwashing of Marxism is trying to say that we should have a clown world where violent criminals, if their epidermis pigmentation shade is "right" should be able to cause genocide against anyone else--this because of a constructed false dichotomy of a Marxist oppressor versus oppressed scenario. Political correctness is cultural Marxism. It was designed from the start to be used by persons who would be voluntary, tricked fools to spread Marxism into Western civilized capitalistic countries to cause their downfall from the inside with volunteers being called USEFUL IDIOTS. Propaganda was fed to them, and they believed it all that communism was cool. www.google.com/search?newwindow=1&q=Yuri+Bezmenov+useful+idiots kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hsx4a6x4nKfbm2Q.html Identity politics and the Marxist lie of white privilege In a debate presented on KZfaq for the need of postmodernism in modern day democratic nations, the pro postmodernism debater defines what originated the ideology. In part he says that it came about due to the politicization, corruption, etc, of information from all sources so that the resulting information upon which people were relying was lies, filled with errors, was misleading, etc. What a stupid method of combating these legitimate concerns? The right way to combat these concerns is to root out the corrupting influences that were influencing these information sources to produce misinformation and to criticize accurately what and why the information was wrong such as improper computing statistics or in ways very wrongly, mixing up the considerations, lies or strong bias originating from financial conflicts of interest, political ideologies that promote provable false narratives, etc. Some systems of society are based on things, that if the public really knew, there would be a huge uproar soon afterward--or so said some people who learned various secrets, etc. The lower class poor unemployed person with the "wrong" pigmentation shade of epidermis is said to have some privilege over others who could be world rulers who have the "right" pigmentation shade of epidermis. These and similar ideas are preposterously idiotic and should be the subject of extreme ridicule and laughter. At no time do I recommend that one's country be governed by criminals or super stupid idiots who are unable to imagine the implications of carrying out foolish politics to hurt their constituents. SJW and wokeness are best explained by James Lindsay and friends. It is entirely without any scholarly merit and was from the outset a ploy to insert cultural Marxism or similar stuff into the institutions of Western capitalistic civilization. Political correctness is a form of lying in order to avoid hurt feelings that would ignore the facts. Believing in lies and basing one's life decisions upon any lies is a very bad plan that shall have extreme consequences to one's self and loved ones. Some tricksters want to cause extreme troubles. They have used public relations messaging to normalize various cultural and political things that shall usher into being the opposite of the Utopia that they claim to want to come into being--heaven on Earth. In this regard we are talking about do as I say and not as I do people. They would have you believe in all kinds of lies such as that we are all equal at birth or that evolution only effects mammals below the neck--that brain development was never effected by the evolutionary influences originating from different conditions imposed by geography, climate, etc. NMRI medical image scanners can be used to detect abnormal blood flow rates in the brains of people who are creating back stories to the lies that they are telling while under examination by this scanner. Using this or similar methods the roots of criminal enterprises and subversive trouble makers can quickly be determined, albeit using somewhat expensive instrumentation that is not available at your corner store. I propose that a test be done on people of all ages to determine fitness to be involved in politics and its commentation by screening out those existing and would be believers in obvious baseless misinformation and identify the sources of the misinformation. And that the word 'misinformation' retain its traditional meaning rather than any trouble maker's new-speak.

I'm confused. I understand the sensitivity of the topic, but where do Muslims get their guidance from to know how to react to this situation. What does it say in the Qur'an is the appropriate response?
@Craggl3s
@Craggl3s 3 жыл бұрын
This article explains the why - www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-30813742. The Koran says Allah and Mohammed must not be depicted in an image because of their grandeur. In terms of the reaction, Muslims can become very fanatical and we see things like the Charlie Hebdo attacks in France - an extreme reaction to a satirical joke. Islam, more than any other religion, seems to have a protected status where, apparently, we are all expected to follow the words of the Koran and if we don’t we run the risk of fanatical retribution. The old texts of all religions justify all sorts of insane violence that reasonable people would find extreme - read about the man picking up sticks on the sabbath in the Old Testament, God orders Moses and his followers to stone him to death! Whilst books like the bible have moved on with the times and toned down the content, the Koran text remains the same and, some people interpret the text in such a way they fully believe they are acting on the will of Allah. The Koran doesn’t define an appropriate response, extreme responses are interpreted this way by fanatics. My view with this Batley issue is that we are not an Islamic state and we should be promoting free speech over any religion. Are we not encouraging indoctrination by avoiding free speech?
@Dr-EV
@Dr-EV 3 жыл бұрын
@@Craggl3s unfortunately indoctrination takes place on an individual long before they understand the concept of free speech. It's time we had a filtered Qur'an. Remove all negative instructions from the book and have a western edition. Any Muslim that rejects it can either move back to their recent foreign home or if not feasible, can be kept in a watch list. Original coopies of whichever of the the 38 versions should be collected and destroyed for promonting violence. If Hitlers ideas were published for what he was enforcing during WW2, it would never be allowed in circulation

Definition of Free speech; Freedom of speech is the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, by any means. ... Freedom of speech and the right to freedom of expression applies to ideas of all kinds including those that may be deeply offensive. Blasphemy UK law: Laws prohibiting blasphemy and blasphemous libel in the United Kingdom date back to the medieval times as common law and in some special cases as enacted legislation. Media will never tell you this, millions and billions are spent on Islamophobia... Abu Sufyan a leader of the tribe of Quraish and the arch enemy of the Prophet was in Constantinople on a business trip, when the Prophet's letter of invitation reached Hercules, the Byzantine emperor of Eastern Roman Empire. Hercules, at the time was in his court at Constantinople celebrating his victory over the Persians. Hercules read the letter through an interpreter and then asked the people in his court, to find out if there was someone in the city, who knew the Prophet. Abu Sufyan with his companions was brought into the court. The emperor asked Abu Sufyan, “What kind of family does Muhammad belong to?” “Noble”, replied Abu Sufyan “Has there been a king in his family?” Hercules asked. “No,” said Abu Sufyan “Are the people who have accepted his religion poor or rich?”, Hercules questioned again. “They are poor”, replied Abu Sufyan. Hercules was now becoming more and more interested and he went on asking questions. His next question was, “Are his followers on the increase or decrease?” “Increasing”, Abu Sufyan replied shortly. “Have you known him to tell lies”? asked Hercules. “No”, admitted Abu Sufyan. “Does he ever go against his convents?”, Hercules once again asked. “Not so far. But we have to see whether he carries out the new agreement made between us and him”, Abu Sufyan answered lengthily for a change. “Have you ever fought him in wars?” Hercules questioned. “Yes”, answered Abu Sufyan “What has been the result?” Hercules asked, getting more and more interested. “Sometimes we have won, sometimes he”, replied Abu Sufyan. “What does he teach?” asked Hercules “Worship One God, join no partners with Him, carry out your prayers, be chaste, speak the truth and keep union with your relatives”, answered Abu Sufyan, even surprised at his own answer as it sounded like he was preaching Islam. Hercules stood up and said, “If all you said is true, then I am sure that this Prophet's Kingdom will reach here where I am standing. I was certain that a Prophet was coming, but I didn't know that he would be born in Arabia. If I were to go there, I would embrace Islam and wash the Prophet's feet with my own hands.” This was the way in which the Prophet spread Islam. He impressed them by his truthfulness, honesty, noble character and dedication in the service of Allah. He did not compel people to accept Islam under threat of waging wars, nor did he compel people to accept Islam by the force of the sword. He fought only in defence, and only when the enemies waged war on him. Just some of the saying of the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh. Pagan arabs/rest of the world at that time was living in the dark ages....Women only got their right to vote after Suffragettes protest in UK recently... "The best among you are those who have the best manners and character". (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) "What actions are most excellent? To gladden the heart of human beings, to feed the hungry, to help the afflicted, to lighten the sorrow of the sorrowful, and to remove the sufferings of the injured". (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “A good man treats women with honour.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - “The greatest jihad (struggle/striving) is to battle your own soul, to fight the evil within yourself.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - “The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - . “The believer does not slander, curse, or speak in an obscene or foul manner.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - “Feed the hungry and visit a sick person, and free the captive, if he be unjustly confined. Assist any person oppressed whether Muslim or non-Muslim.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - “Speak good or remain silent.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - “The most perfect man in his faith among the believers is the one whose behaviour is most excellent, and the best of you are those who are the best to their wives.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - “A Muslim who plants a tree or sows a field, from which man, birds and animals can eat, is committing an act of charity.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “Verily, a man teaching his child manners is better than giving one bushel of grain in alms.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “Keep yourselves far from envy; because it eats up and takes away good actions, like a fire eats up and burns wood.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “You will not enter paradise until you have faith; and you will not complete your faith till you love one another.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “The perfect Muslim is not a perfect Muslim, who eats till he is full and leaves his neighbors hungry.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “Do you know what is better than charity and fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “A father gives his child nothing better than a good education.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) - “The strong person is not the one who can wrestle someone else down. The strong person is the one who can control himself when he is angry.” (Prophet Muhammad, pbuh)

@tony montana Prophet Muhammad started the message of Islam in Arabia at a time when human rights had no meaning, might was right and the society was entrenched in paganism. In this environment, Prophet Muhammad taught a message of justice, peace, human rights, animal rights and even environmental rights as ordained by God. He treated everyone, friends and foe, man and woman, young and old, with kindness and respect. Even when the pagan Arabs reacted to the message of the Prophet with extreme hatred he showed love and kindness. One of the most patient and tolerant aspects of the Prophet's character in the incident of an old woman who made a habit of throwing trash in the way of the Holy Prophet Muhammad whenever he passed by her house. The story related about this incident, mentions a neighbor of the Prophet that tried her best to irritate him by throwing garbage in his way every day. One day when he passed, no garbage thrown, prophet came to know that she was sick. The Prophet went to visit her and offer any assistance she might need. The old woman was extremely humbled and at the same time ashamed of her actions in light of the concern that the Prophet showed her. By seeing the example of compassion of Prophet Muhammad, she became convinced that Islam must be a true religion that the Prophet was preaching... The general rule in Islam is that any peaceful and law-abiding non-Muslim enjoys the same basic human rights as Muslims. In fact, if any non-Muslim is oppressed by a Muslim, the Prophet will plead on behalf of the non-Muslim against the unjust Muslim on the Day of Judgment. Annie Besant, British Theosophist said on prophet muhammad, It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new sense of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher." Michael Hart said, My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level." [The 100: A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History" Edward Gibbon, regarded as one of the greatest British historians said, "The greatest success of Mohammad's life was effected by sheer moral force without the stroke of a sword." "I have studied him -the wonderful man, and in my opinion, far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the savior of humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring the much needed peace and happiness". Sir George Bernard Shaw
