Dont listen to them trolls talking bout more ah is more runtime, i use at least a 4ah battery on all my cordless tools and yes i can even take lug nuts off with my Ryobi 1/2 " impact with a 4ah battery higher ah = more power even the torque test channel knows this.

Thanks for your honest review i wss on the fence about getting the Hyper Tough 3/8 brusless impact wrench but now i think im get one.

Try the lug nut test again with the 4ah battery and you were loosing loads of torque with the 3/8 to 1/2 " adapter

The difference in the 2ah and 4ah is the run time not the power

Scientifically, yes you are correct. AH is a unit for how muhc charge something can have. But for some reason, these tools do have a significant power increase when they have bigger battery packs. I experienced this with harbor freight. they have a 1.5aH battery and wondered why it didnt pull off lug nuts. People said go 3aH or up because the bigger battery get access to 2x more cells, and therefore more power in the bursts. they were right.

12 volt 3/8 drive was never intended to remove lug nuts. I have that tool and it is awsome for what it's intended for.

Thanks for this review! I picked up the long head 12v ratchet to work on my car and its been so good I'm interested in the other tools now. This little cordless wrench might be the next pickup!

my ryobi impact won't even do a lug i have to start em with breaker bar, still much faster. im looking at one of these right now for 44 bucks.

My first impact was a Hyper Tough before I bought my Bauer and never had a problem with either one except keeping them charged. They're great tools you just need to upgrade your batteries when you can and buy at least two to stay in the game. Great review!

I have the older 227 piece set with the plastic locking latches .It came with the 72 tooth ratchets all of the tools are made in Taiwan and for the money its been a great set ive had it over 8 years .

I have this 3/8 impact and I have only used the 4.0 battery since I bought it and no issues. I also have the 3/8 ratchet and I use the 1.5 and 2.0 batteries with that with no issues and yes but the quick charger.
