Did you tell them you quit teaching before retracting and have since decided to leave the profession?

The narcissism (which obviously stems from their childhood / any trauma), entitlement, favouritism, need for frequent validation, scapegoating, paranoia, fakeness, fragility, victimisation and monkey see monkey do culture is petty and toxic too. You really see people's true colours in leadership and it's bad enough when they get away with it. You may not be trained to do certain things because of the sick / fabricated narratives others believe and make about you. There can be elements of hypocrisy regarding diversity and inclusion if the demographic is somewhat diverse but its all to do with the location's demographic. People expect you to acknowledge them but they are not even reciprocal at times especially if you don't work with them.

Im already in dubai since my childhood already. When it was my birthday my mum and I would go to dubai. And my dad works there for many years. So my family and I were in UAE for many years and actually visited many freakin amazing places also. Here is the list of the place I visit in UAE: The emirates mall, Inside of burj khalifa, Global village that includes all the cultures of north and south america. And ive been to the fountain show at emaar mall already.

teaching in the uk is incredibly wearing and stressful. looking over the past 6 years i can honestly say they've been the most trying and arduous of my life. What a shame. It should be a valued profession however all that happens is people see it for what it is and stay away/burn out. Unless its your calling and you go the degree route at uni. I would avoid. Sorry its such a sad state off affairs.

Hi, do you have any advice for partners? I’m Australian and my partner and I are looking at making the move. He is not a teacher and wondering how the benefits with the schools applies to spouses. (Housing, visa, moving costs etc). Any advice would be great, thank you so much!

Wishing you the best in the future! Go for it! I have a question i would be very grateful for you to answer: i am a different generation, i am 55, but lucky to be in excellent shape and health. I am considering early retirement or just living teaching in the UK to live my long postponed dream of teaching in Dubai for a couple of years. I am a qualified teacher with 20 years experience. Do you think that being a 55 year old woman reduce my chances? Or will my application be even be considered? Thank you

Congratulations on making a decision which will positively impact your mental health, well-being and your future self. The education sector is beautiful but also a black hole if you're not careful and only those who have worked within education can understand this. Hope you enjoy your time off and gain some life-long memories.
