Pack your bags was the first Yeager video I ever saw at a innocent age of 15 and all I could think “ is fuck yeah I want to be like that” why I became a cop and why I live the martial lifestyle. It’s our responsibility.

There are many examples of when it would be more important to shoot the bad guy instead of not getting shot. The first and obvious example is when you're with family-stopping the bad guy is of the utmost importance to keep my family safe, even before the priority of me not getting shot. The second example is an active shooter situation, an example that we explore in great detail during our active shooter course. Thank you for bringing up this topic. The dogmatic "it's more important to not get shot than shoot the bad guy" is such a limited statement. There are many things in your life worth getting shot for-you just have to decide what those things are before it happens.
@gospelofviolence25 күн бұрын
I don’t think it’s the context for this overarching statement. It’s not about the choice to be made within actual fight- of course there are things worth dying for. The idea- in my opinion- is that if training methodology emphasizes the metrics that facilitate “making the shot”, without addressing in equal capacity (at least) the metrics that affect one’s ability to not become easier target while engaging in the process of making those shots.

Great video. Just subbed. Any specific complaints or things you'd like to see different or improved upon a bit with the Combat Art fanny pack? Looks great as it orients the gun totally vertical just like AIWB carry and I don't see that often. Ever try the Junk Sack fanny pack? How fast are your draw times with it? As fast as conventional belt AIWB carry? Any suspicious or awkward looks from others in public ever? I only ask as it seems not only like a relatively large overall fanny pack but its vertical / height dimension appears very large compared to many other fanny packs? Or no, blends in fine?
@Bulletn2 ай бұрын
All good questions. Wearing a fanny pack absolutely has its advantages and disadvantages. Am I as fast as a draw? No, absolutely not. But a design like the Combat Art Fanny Pack helps mitigate that a bit with the top flap. I wear it around all the time. That’s why I got gray, it kind of blends in with anything. It’s big, but it would have to be to fit a full size gun vertically. I also have added benefit of being a huge dude. I really don’t think people give me a second look if I’m wearing a fanny pack. The concern is usually totally in the mind of the wearer that someone might think that it holds a gun. And even if they do, fuck em, it’s concealed, there’s no way to confirm that unless they physically check you/it. And nobody does that. “What do you keep in there?”, Is something I’ve maybe been asked once on the last few years… and my planned response has always been “Medical tools”
