This show - honestly, sheesh. All it had was screaming round in that massive Torino, chasing thugs, discharging firearms, smashing through doors and walls, loving women, wise cracking and jumping on trunks of cars. Thank God they don’t make TV shows like THAT anymore.

David Soul (born David Richard Solberg; August 28, 1943 - January 4, 2024) was an American and British actor and singer. #RIPDavidSoul🌹 IN LOVING MEMORY ~ My 1st TV Cop Crush😍 🤍🕊

I remember this series on tv. Aaron Spelling and Leonard Golberg were brillant directors. Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul are the vey best of American police shows. I rember the 1979 Ford Gran Torino in Morgan City,Louisiana. The Canal gasoline station had one . His call sign on the cb radio was zebra three! RIP David Soul you brought joy, action, and excitement to young kids in that time. May you restvin heaven as we all remember you!

Sometimes I wonder if the slide across the General Lee hood was influenced by Paul Michael Glaser going over the hood in Starsky in Hutch.

The Notorious B.I.G. - "Close like Starsky and Hutch, stick the clutch..." This used to be my show as a kid. I remember how it shook me to my core when I saw David Soul as a bad motorcycle cop in Clint Eastwood's Magnum Force. 😂 I appreciate the joy he added to my childhood.

I'm watching this and probably the most memorable bit after all these years is him jumping onto the car roof and landing on his arse. It always stuck in my mind. But as I watch it again with older wiser eyes .. WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?! :) It's much easier, safer, better to just land on his feet, very simple. At that height he could basically just run onto the roof. Oh no, the entire thing is spoiled for me now I'm afraid. I'm beginning to think it wasn't a fly on the wall real cop documentary after all.
