To all comments assuming this home was "RANSACKED": nothing I see in this video points towards anyone going into the house to rifle through or "toss" it in search of valuables. The sad fact of the matter is that HOARDING gets to THIS level of bad...and worse (don't believe my statements? Watch the series, "Hoarders" that had been shown on the A&E network.). I can personally attest to this because in my most formative years, I was forced to live in a filthy hoarding situation only slightly better than this. Also, once my Grandma was nearing her 90s, her tiny apartment had only narrow trails between stacks of random stuff that led from to room. This is a fairly common problem that becomes worse as in this video, as the woman's physical mobility becomes more hampered with aging well into her 90s. Also, I guarantee you'd be quite surprised to find that there's more than likely at least one property very near you in which a person is struggling with hoarding. As you can see from the exterior of the home in this video, you cannot always tell from a home's exterior that there's utter chaos inside. My childhood home was a prime example of that scenario-- my father kept the EXTERIOR and acre of grounds in pristine condition.

Possibly some distant family came in and did rifle through it or someone who bought the lot or kids up to no good messed it up. I have explored a few homes and sometimes after a while a window gets broken and the elements can make a mess of things too.

It's plain to see her vulture relatives were searching for hidden money, rummaging thru cabinets and drawers with no consideration for the items they were throwing on the floor. It's shameful. I wonder if the poor woman has a headstone on her grave? If not, a lot of this stuff could be sold to pay for one.
