It’s happened. I never thought I’d see this day. I got old. People way younger than me are collecting things from my youth. I can’t imagine what 40 year old Duran Duran cassette tapes sound like now after they were played 1,000 times and sat in a box in someone’s garage for over 3 decades. Enjoy rewinding them with a pencil when your Walkman eats them.

It depends if the heads are lined up correctly, and the speed is accurate. A cheaper-end Sony Walkman/radio with Dolby and tape select can sound amazing, if set up correctly. Don't contribute to landfill by purchasing modern inferior garbage.

I am wondering where the base system macOs resides? Is it on a separate disk or is it on the same hard drive? The reason i ask is if i change the view to view all drives macintosh hd is a user data partition of the hard drive and the physical hard drive shows up on the very top of the list. Erasing macintosh hd just deletes user data but does not clean the entire hard drive. If i erase the very top physical hard drive will internet recovery mode be able to reinstall my os? Theorictally it should since if i were to replace the hard drive with a brand new hard drive then it would be the same as wiping clean the entire physical hard drive as opposed to just the macintosh hd? Any help is appreciated
