Magique. Combien de fois cette chanson a pu me faire passer des émotions négatives. J'ai eu la chance de discuter avec Ablaye il y a quelques jours à la fin de son concert, et il s'est amusé que nous le suivions depuis déjà son (excellent) album Diam. Pour la petite histoire, il nous a expliqué que Douna était l'une des premières chansons sur lesquelles il a intégré du chant. Quel chef d'oeuvre. Merci beaucoup pour votre travail :)

I first heard this Song from my African masseuse & a great Nia teacher, Farcia and while I laid getting my Massage, she would play the most Beautiful relaxing African music, But this track captured me so differently from other Beautiful song she played. When growing up, my father was a great Jazz Musician & had a wonderful Band. He graduated from Julliard school of Music & in his later years taught at Howard University. He & his Band played behind some of the Great female jazz singers. I loved the way he would play the Piano & I would sit as a little girl, close my eyes & just listen. Thats the sameway I felt when listening to this Beautiful Music, Close my eyes & let this song take my spirit away as I floated into another Universe where there is just nothing but Water & Heaven, And when I floated back my whole inter being became that of peace & serenity. It make you forget that a world full hatred & inhumanity of others doesn't exist. It just that Magical. Thank you.

Je viens de les rencontrer à Rennes aux champs libres ce jour en conférence-concert, le duo est fabuleux surtout avec leur origine différentes, l'instrument que Ablayé Cissoko joue est une kora et Cyrille Brotto joue de l'accordéon diphonique.
