I just clicked on the three dots next to the 'Save' icon and it said 'Report'. I hope I've not done anything amiss :( I get out and about on my motorbike when I can and have a couple of snaps of it parked next to the sign for The Slaughters in the Cotswolds and Homer and Wigwig in Shropshire :)

@@G.E.MTFC_ thanks for making a comment. Wondered whether it was you as you were one of the ones that expressed genuine interest in what I was up to. I think I managed to get a much better hole shot further down the trail for the bee tree. The hole was bigger and I learnt from the first attempt at the stag 🙏

Didn't cost as much as you seem to think it did. I was slightly better paid back then than I am now though. That's the public sector I suppose. But I do still consider myself very fortunate to experience all my adventures. Both back then and now.

Thanks Daz. Your comments are always appreciated. Yes, it was quite a year. Wasn't all good though, got made redundant in the middle of the year. That was certainly a dampener on what I was trying to create.

@@darrenkinder2213 Yes, I suppose. I certainly changed industry. Went from the exhibition industry to education. I did earn more money back then than I am now. You don't work in the public sector for a great salary, that's for sure.

No fatalities. I looked that up. Some nasty injuries though. The footage I took there was someone who injured his knee I think. Someone in the crowd said he was an Aussie.

I really liked this Amanda, I knew that there was some history behind it but never knew what. It had always seemed a strange anachronism to me & little more than an excuse for a bit of a punch-up & some anti-social & violent behaviour. I could never imagine wanting to go, so thank you for going for me. I can't say that my preconceptions have changed much, except that the action all seems to be muck more contained than I expected & the vast majority of those attending seemed to be hanging around watching for a long time with nothing else to do. You couldn't possibly have any stalls or merch of any kind in that situation. But very well documented & the voices & perspectives of some participants was very illuminating.

Thanks for the comment Gavin :) I do have mod plans to make the boxes more accessible, by putting legs on the plywood, so that the boxes can be pulled out easily, however also need to reduce the height slightly by swapping out the z-bed mattress for a slightly thinner piece of foam. Something for another day. Not an urgent job.
