Too bad it wasn’t low on oil like it was a few years ago. Now that I think about it, I’ve been on so many more disappointing and scratchy sounding hydros recently. Most of them have been Nationals.

Ah one of my childhood elevators. The motors used to scare me quite a lot cause it would literally vibrate the walls of the adjacent businesses

At the beginning of the video, I thought I heard a dry powered motor from the machine room. Unfortunately the TK Signa4 elevators kinda lack quality-wise since they don’t hold up too well over time. I like the teal cabs tho.

I absolutely love the tiles and wood in the elevator lobby. This building looks awesome! Beautiful atrium, reminds me of when I used to play mini golf in Sunnyvale. The elevators are nice too, I like the tall doors. Funny how the valve sounds on 330As are louder than the motors at least on my iPhone speaker lol.

There are two Eagle elevators in CT that I know of, but I suspect it's a different company sharing the same name. They're about a mile from each other, one is a distributed Northern, while the other is a distributed TK with older Traditional fixtures.

Macy’s at Southridge (a two floor store) has the elevator labeled as Car 3. It’s the escalators. I think it’s a Macy’s/Bloomingdale’s thing.

I went to a Bloomingdales today and rode a Montgomery a series and a general elevator with epco fixtures and they both had a great motor

These were in fact haughton. They were L series when I rode them as a kid and I know there’s at least one video of them original

8:47 In Romania, we have those crappy communist-era lifts that have 2 little doors. They are manually oprated, and because of years and years of use and abuse, those little pegs that hold the door in place weaken and let the door open. When that happens, the 'computer' says "uh oh door open=no movey movey", so you have to put your foot or palm on the doors for the damn thing to move. Basically, that elevator remembered its grandpa, and, in way to pay some sort of respect, it started doing the same thing.

This is just a regular eastern european elevator moment, don't worry.
