The way this game turned itself around like this proves that rushing a game to make deadlines will do worse things for your game than delaying it in order to release a complete game. If CDPR had waited until it was fully ready to release, it would have won some awards during its release year and wouldn't have lost so many players to begin with, because without the game breaking bugs, its a fucking masterpiece in every aspect

I think the problem with a lot of the mods is that you find a mod and check the requirements and realise it needs a few things you don't have, so you click on one and check the requirements and realise it needs some things you don't have, so you click on one and realise it needs some things you don't have, and so on. Before you know it that one mod now needs 10 other mods installed to work, at which point I wonder if it's even worth it and don't bother.

I believe Cyberpunk's biggest issue was that it released across far too many platforms. Personally, the game despite how it may run now...should have been a 9th generation only experience. It appears finally CD Project Red is moving on as the new DLC isn't for the last gen hardware. This means hopefully it will really take advantage of the newer hardware. We (fiancee and I) picked up Cyberpunk 2077 at launch for our Xbox Series X and PS5. I played it on my Series X and really had a great time with it. The game ran stable enough that I put in 144 hours in before stopping. My fiancee on the other hand couldn't make it through the first hour. It was really, really bad. Thankfully, that is behind us now. I just fired up my game and its so amazing it is like experiencing it for the first time again. Excellent job CD Project Red!

I gave up on the One X version (which was just barely playable) and decided to wait till I upgraded to next gen and till the game was fixed. It looks and runs great. Decided to start the game all the way over too.

I bought 2 copies of Cyberpunk 2077 at launch. I did this so my fiancee and I could take advantage of our new hardware or so we thought. I got it for the Xbox Series X and PS5. Now, my experience was actually pretty good as it ran very well on the Series X at launch. I was able to beat the game without any issue within a week. My fiancee on the other hand couldn't get passed the first mission as it was a total mess. After that we put it down and have waited a long time for the "next gen" update. Well...I'm finally firing up the game for the first time in 4 years (has it been 4 freaking years?) and I'm hoping for it to finally live up to its name. Will I be impressed...probably.

I installed everything mentioned in the video exactly as shown, the manual way, but having trouble. When I launch the game, with or without "enable mods" selected, nothing changes. I've tried restarting everything fresh. Would really appreciate if anyone can help, cheers.

Didn't encounter a single bug since launch. 2.12 17 hours in: T-pose everywhere. Cars randomly crashing. Glitching through buildings. Messages regarding quests arrive ten quests later. Especially with story quests, like when Panam messages you about her Saul/Biotechnica doubts, but it's after the Saka run if you return for more side missions. Objects that NPCs hold are behaving rather oddly. Somehow, the game was in better state at launch. PL story was even more predictable than the main story. Especially whenever a character muses about the future, you just know they'll die. Jackie - "...most important day in my life." you'll likely die, bro. Saul - "Thank me when we get back in one piece." Yup, you're dead. Alex - "retirement request". No way she's gonna live. I expected they'd learn a bit. MaxTac is weak. Vehicular combat underwhelming. Romance at home laughable - at least I expected a new sex scene. Seriously, V's sexual life is worse than mine. Combat got a bit better, but nothing groundbreaking. If anything, it got closer to new DOOM franchise entries without reaching at least as high as its ankles. Sol's character is cliché upon cliché. Oh, and I hate a new word: sitch Edit: not to mention I truly expected some cyberpunkish clothing options. Underwear, gloves, jewelery, customizable T-shirts, mox clothing, etc... I highly doubt that in such a sexualized future, people would be dressing up so appropriately.
