🥺 I just replaced the coolant temperature sensor and the connector and my ac still not blowing cold and fans still not working. Why's it? Maybe the fans or relays? Please help 😢 I have a 2015 Chevy traverse. It was cooling fine and it stopped working when i was driving.

One piece strut assemblies are usually cheap aftermarket junk or made from the finest Chinesesium available, stick with OEM or a high end European or Japanese made struts

i work at a ford dealer and ive worked on some of the escapes and the recalls are so stupid for the fuel leak literally they give me a tube with some loctite paste and then you shove it in a specific hole on the engine block supposedly when that high pressure fuel pump or whatever fails and leaks it will leak into through the tube but to me thats just ford trying to find the easiest way out of theyre fuck ups

Well as long as it’s cheaper to pay out wrongful death lawsuits than it is to pay engineers to just make it the right way- they will always, ALWAYS, go with the cheapest route. That is the essence of capitalism. If they realize that it will lead to too many deaths, then and only then will the invest more in the engineering: and ONLY enough to bring the death rates down, but not totally zero them out.

Ya I was bout to say I have AAA and most people who have newer vehicles have some form of towing service. The handful that want a spare will get one
@hiddenbigfoot12 сағат бұрын
It would have to be bad for me to use one of my towing slots over a tire tho. I'm not ur average car guy tho lol. 😅

At O'Reilly a customer came in looking for tune up parts for a Corvette. He said it had no power. I asked what kind of gas was in the tank. He said regular. I said put premium in it and he said that fixed it.

That type of shield easily bends back into place without much effort. A warning for new Mechanics & trainees. From a shop owner & Master Teck. I worked for years at dealers & Chain - franchise garages before opening my own garage. I was also the guy who got the sh17 jobs because I was too agreeable. Even after I opened my own garage I still cleaned up after myself & finished a customers car before eating, even eating a sandwich with one greasy hand while working with the other sometimes. I expected the same of my techs. We also got burnt bruised or bleeding together almost every day but put SOP's in place that prevented serious injuries. What was different was, I kept a fully stocked extra tool cart for my newer techs & a locked tool room with specialty tools & scanner so none of my tech would have to buy all the expensive stuff I had to. As a mechanic, I was told many times I could not be considered for service writer or manager position because I was Master certified in both Automotive & Heavy Duty trucks. I was told "Do you know how hard it is to replace a Master tech. We can drag any idiot off the street and slap a Manager badge on him". Service writers & managers always got paid better than us techs. Many think kissing up to them will get you better jobs thats a myth. Kissing up to them doesn't help. I can tell you from decades of experience as a non drinker & non smoker, Its the drinking buddies that get the gravy jobs. I made sure that did not happen in my shop. Only 2 years after I opened my own shop I had enough money to move from a rented 3 bay to a $40K down payment on a 12 bay 10,000 sg ft building. I remained one of the 2 biggest shops in TN 4th largest city for 18 years. I now sell parts online. Thats a whole other story for later.

That customer sounds like the type who would try to sue either way. Ifs he’s wound up enough to try to sue over 200, imagine if they had done all the work he was requesting and it still blew up. But I guess that’s part of it when you deal with the public, you deal with all kinds.
