You don't need to use a carbon filter. It's just for odor and taste.

I cannot understand the stubborn silliness of US Americans in persisting with British Imperial system, when METRIC was made “standard “ in USA during the presidency of Gerald R Ford.

How hard is this pepper to grow? Does it require constant attention? Is it prove to rot, pests etc. I make hot sauce for a living and really want to try experimenting with this variety. Cheers.

I'm in zone 8b. Pretty much was growing all the way into the beginning of the year. Too hot over the summer. Got one in water and direct, well I guess it could be indirect. Got it in a window so I might move it after hearing this

My father and I were riding cross country on our motorcycles. I was riding staggered on the inside lane. One hit his mirror, bounced off and hit me in the cheek stinging me. I pulled over immediately. Found him sticking to my clothing after. This happened in the south east corner of SD. By the time we got to Indianapolis. The entire left side of my face and head had swelled up. Freaking hurt like hell.

Let me just correct you just a bit so that the proper information is given. The Cascabel pepper is the name when it is in dry form, and Bola pepper when it is in fresh form. Cascabel means the rattler like on a rattlesnake because of the sound it makes. Nice video!

Fake enemy. Mix this plant with alcohol let it in a jar for few weeks. Cures all allergy problems. Plants more dangerous than plastic, chemicals, wars, weapons. Just lies.

I love these small peppers. I put them in omelettes, cold pasta salads and stuff them. Cut them in half, add a slice of cream cheese, wrap in 1/2 slice of thin bacon and bake at 375 until done.

When they're hard like that, pop them in the oven at 350F for a couple hours. Cut in half scoop out seeds, scrape out flesh. Put butter, salt, garlic, and tajin and eat. Its delicious! Also you can use the baked flesh for pie. Native to Mexico. Pest resistant. Grows HUGE as a plant. Its not poisonous at all. Sold at Texas markets. Calabacita or TAH-TOO-MAY.

Tatume. Can be eaten small like zuchini. At the fall let them get large and use like winter squash. Native to Mexico. Puts down roots everywhere it travels. Less vuknerable to vine borers.

Tatume are a native of Mexico. They can be eaten young and small like zuchini, and let them grow large into the fall and winter and they make great pumpkin type winter squashes. Bake the larger ones at 350F for a couple hours, cut open. Clean seeds and eat flesh with butter, pepper and tajin.
