What Mercedes is banking on here is that in this section of the market, the people buying the vehicles know what they want and are brand loyal. In that, if they are going for the GLE, this is not their first Mercedes and they have most likely owned another one down the product lineup and are now brand loyal and moving up the brand as their pockets grow. Additionally, this side of the market is not one for the price-conscious, and most people making purchases already know what they want and are not willing to compromise. Yes, we can make arguments, about the X5, Cayenne, and XC90 being cheaper and giving you more, but ultimately, if I want a Mercedes SUV and I have the money, I'm not going to compromise, because I've worked too hard to not get what I want - that is the customers logic

If the car has to go back all the way down to 3rd or 4th from 7th to be able to overtake on the highway, it clearly does not have enough torque for its size so it relies on the peak power of the KWs.

From driving the tiggo 7 pro, I think the “fuel consumption goes lower after first service” statement might actually be true as I’ve been keeping track of the one in the tiggo 7 and it’s been going down ever since…. Or is me getting better with driving it nicely instead of that “new car driving” type of driving (bo quick acceleration, speeding etc)

8+ litres average. Hahaha it never goes down. I hate the seats coz they not leather. This car looks like a shoe. The reason why it has more sales than haval is because the entry level price is very low. Otherwise this is a cool car. Don't use android auto when playing sound, use Bluetooth, thank me later. Sunroof is useless, that thing burns the face and nuts when possible.
