Not all that different than today honestly. The trains had more style and everyone read newspapers instead of their phones, but beyond that I felt like I was on the subway like usual.

Crazy to think this was a little over 30 years ago but looks like it was recorded on a different planet. Back when the city had grit and character. Pre nanny state era. When NYC was still adventurous and the culture wasnt infested with woke PC culture and hipsters.

He visto otras imágenes de NY de 1911. Es maravilloso ver lo elegantes y lo respetuosos que parecen todos, tanto mujeres como hombres, con sus sombreros y chaquetas. Viendo esta otra película, creo que fue en los sesenta cuando empieza a joderse Occidente. También apostaría a que ya no tenemos remedio, y la decadencia de EEUU y Europa es imparable.
