These refs are ridiculous. The Barkley foul, the jump ball at the second half. Are they blind or biased?

Shane Heal played in Greece for Near East (1998-2000) and Makedonikos(2003-2004) clubs that were trying avoiding relegation, but Heal he was one of the best foreigners ever played in Greek league

Man’s cardio is crazy too. Look at the first qtr. He’s guarding a scoring guard, ball handling, and weak side help/steal when guys aren’t looking

Malone and Barkley both cheap shots. I feel like it annoyed them Australia played an exhibition game so hard, so they lashed out

28:48 is a classic example that long 3s exist long before Steph Curry. Dang Shane Heal could shoot like crazy. 1:16:08 thats Orlando Magic bball - get Reggie outta there for BShaw or Anthony Bowie and that alley hoop play connects 😂😂😂.

First half almost over. When does this Heal guy start doing something? (Oh, I see now....a bunch of unguarded 3s. La di da. China was hitting those in the last game vs. USA.)

When they made the great documentary about the original 1992 dream team they thought they could never get 11 hall of famers on one team again. But fast forward to 2022 and all 12 members of this 1996 Olympic Team is in the Hall of Fame today.

Not true, Penny Hardaway isn't in the HOF yet. He may get there, but as of this post he only was only recently nominated for the first time this year (2024). It's too bad injuries shortened his career or else he would have been a no doubter.

Barkley was a 6'4.5 monster. Barkley was a all.time great rebounding beast. To average 23ppg/12RPG/4 ASS PER GAME/ WITH 2STEALS PER GAME WAS INCREDIBLE! HIM AND SHAQ WERW UNSTOPPABLE AT THIS POINT
@alfredooliva51753 жыл бұрын
Not 6'4 . He was 6'6. This is absolutely confirmed by his numerous police mugshots....Media made him shorter for publicity...its in his book....

Our aussie uniform was embarrasing on the world stage, whoever let smiths chips make that logo so big should have been sacked
@granvillewalkerjr43213 жыл бұрын
You had to give the Aussies due credit. They were outclassed in every meaningful aspect of the game, but they didn't surrender to the superior squad. Trying to get physical with Sir Charles or the Mailman were huge mistakes.

I think it was the other way round. Commentators were a bit late on the action. US with Malone especially were trying to intimidate Aus and throwing arms and elbows the whole time. When it actually connected then the Aussies started to fight back
