Hi there - I had this prob last year, my bro in law bought us some ham for christmas, I soaked it for a day and changed the water, it was still so salty when i roasted it up! I have just read that adding vinegar to the water when your soaking it helps. I am finding nowadays the same problem with bacon its over salted and it spoils the taste
