So you get to move each ship once per round, across your 3 turns? or you cant move them after you take them out? or after a round theyre put back in storage to be taken out again during your turns? this isnt really mentioned explicitly. similarly with the storage upgrade, unless you get it during one of your first turns, why wouldnt your ship already be on the board? and how retroactively does it get the favor and influence, from your previous turns in the same round or from the entire game?

Wow! That was a crazy game. Woe is me Austin kept feeding that “I’m in last place” rhetoric and it almost worked but he got a little too greedy placing his final ship on that grey spot which gave the additional green! Well if anyone is undecided about whether or not they want to All-In the campaign, they should definitely watch this one. Best gameplay I’ve seen of it yet!

Could Grant have gotten basically infinite ambassadors that last round? He had the card that let him take an ambassador action for a purple cube, the card that gave him 2 orange cubes when he took the ambassador action, and the card that let him use two of any color as a purple. And then he had enough power to get purple cards for free and 4 power in blue so a blue ambassador only cost him one cube.
@IVGamesStudio3 күн бұрын
That ambassador specifies a single use per round, but that flywheel would be legendary 🫡

Seeing how green cubes were is such high demand, are there any plans to increase the number of cubes in the base game? Or, add a "cube pack" to the Kickstarter campaign?
@cublaxift71854 күн бұрын
The number of cubes is fixed by the number of players. If there are no more cubes of a color, the revolt rule applies. So you don't have to add cubes.

Question: Dani offered a trade where she had 4 cubes gave two and kept the other two as the deal 37:03. Is that allowed? I wouldn’t have thought it was because you have to trade away the cubes on the outside but I guess if it’s a part of the deal with someone else it could be okay. Would it be possible to be able to keep all 4 of the cubes you have to trade if another player just told you you could take them or asked for 4 of your personal cubes in exchange?
@TheTabletopMisfits4 күн бұрын
A trade is a trade. Technically they gave away 4 and got back 2 that happened to be two they just traded. She bribed someone to launder her cubes.

IV studios will always be my favorite boardgame producer. To see the heart and soul put into these games make them amazing in and of themselves, not to mention being amazing games not only mechanically but artistically. I don’t think I will ever love a game as much as I love Fractured Sky. Easily my number 1 game of all time. You guys are amazing and hope to be able to play your games with you at Kickstarter fulfillment day one day. Thanks for helping me create some of the best gaming memories I’ll ever have.

Moonrakers is a fantastic game, had a campaign with 5 friends last night, building a powerful ship to play insane chains is such a power trip!! And the co-op/versus nature of it meant that by the end we were all neck and neck, it was nailbiting! If Brink is half as fun I’m in. And the graphic design is absolutely gorgeous, sleek as hell and even down to the grid-like finish on the cards the attention to detail is immaculate, feels really premium, which is so nice when many other board games look a bit tacky. Dim the lights and put on some sunset lamps, Put on a space ambience playlists, and you’re transported into the universe! 🪐
@lukejackson39018 күн бұрын
My one critique (absolutely love all the games from you guys), is that the trading feels a bit tacked on to create that sense of acting outside your turn. Trading is all well and good, but the obligation to trade away power you get that turn feels like forcing that interaction to happen rather than it organically happening.

This game looks super cool, but my first impression is that the Ambassadors and Riders are a bit superfluous. Some action cards seem like they already work like Riders, and the Ambassador scoring seems a little out of place when compared to the rest of the scoring system. This is from just one video though so I could very well be missing how these fit into the bigger picture/gameplay flow. I'm really digging the other concepts here (like the different ship types spanning 1-3 hexes, unique hexploration, faction objectives, hidden council voting, etc). Right now I'm thinking it's a bit too complex for the folks I'd play with, but I love IV's passion & attention to detail-hope the Kickstarter goes well!
