Just curious if you have the BMW connect subscription enabled or is this all local to your car? Also, do you have the phone plugged into the USB or is it working over bluetooth connection?

the phone has to be plugged in with the bmw app installed on your phone. I believe it still works till now!

it will only work when your phone is plugged in the usb as the 2g from the Combox was discontinued .

It doesnt , its a complete different head unit , LCD and controls. About £1000 upgrade

Frank P For the E series is BN2000 9257163, for the F series is BN2010

i dont remeber exactly but any Combox comes from E series will do the job
