How did you update the Mapping software for ignition, timing, fuel injection ? Where did you download the map from? Did you ever take it to a dynamometer to test power before and after? Or...Are you just creating different sounds?

I know this is ages old, but I would’ve used the first exhaust after ordering the new one, UNTIL it’s been messed up and then swap it. Unless you planned on selling it.

For anyone who comes across this video with a similar problem to mine: I purchased a set of gold parts from a PT940 to put on my PT911. After the install, I was annoyed to find out that my pistol basically only worked in double action, with no sear engagement in single action mode. I thought I broke something, or disengaged some part of the sear assembly. Turns out the trigger bar and sear have slightly different measurements between the two. The parts are majority interchangeable but the sear, trigger bar, and extractor are not interchangeable. You might be able to move the sear and trigger bar together, I didn't try because I didn't want to go swapping out the sear, but the 40 cal trigger bar definitely does not work on the 9mm sear. This may also be a generational difference, since the 40 cal kit I got had a loaded chamber indicator arm instead of a solid extractor, and some of the springs were different.

how does it affect the handling?
