As usual Gary, we all owe you a sincere thank you for capturing these great events.

Travis was so smooth. He could've easily been on Carmichael's level if he focused on racing, but I know freestyle was more his thing and I'd say that worked out pretty well for him.

People talk about Travis in SX, but I think outdoor he would have really hurt some peoples records.

I can’t believe it’s been 40 years. I saw this race live right after graduating high school in 84. I saw every race live from 1980 to 1986. A bit of the old track still sits there buried below an industrial park.

I forgot what real motocross sounded like. No wonder I haven't attended a MX/SX race in 10 years. Thanks, AMA, for F-ing up a great sport with those potato farting 4 strokes. Nothing beats the exhilaration and raw sounds of 250 two strokes.
@zackk6952 ай бұрын
I love seeing this video but it also makes me sad. What happened with 4 strokes coming in ruined the sport. The sound of the 2 stroke of all sizes is just so important and the key money maker for all manufacturers and promotion but they are to damn stupid to see it. This has nothing to do with emissions.Even if they sold 5 times the amount of dirt bikes it would even come close to the damage cars are doing and the cars don’t even need the hp and that’s what gets me. 150hp car could carry 4 fat people easily yet they are double the hp now. Makes no sense at all

Not a great day for Americans. Glover, Bailey crashing, allowing Van Der Ven’s consistency to get the overall. At least LaPorte gained points on Jobe.
