I think people are not giving enough credit to PNG and instead they are saying WI underperformed. While I do believe WI underperformed but I think it was more than PNG really played well. Their bowling on this type of pitch was difficult for WI to handle. Their fast bowlers were like medium pacers. The pitch was really assisting the bowlers. Akeil Husein looked like Shane Warne out there on this pitch with the amount of turn he was getting. And this bowlers bowled consistently straight from ball one. I believe on this pitch, no team in this WC would have been able to score over 170.

We can start with t20 to get people interested and then show them those test matches in England, SA and Australia. Some amazing contest between bat and ball. Then they actually start to understand cricket

Being a coach of a national team is not the same as being a mentor in IPL. One of the important jobs of a coach of an international team apart from having an analytical and sharp cricketing brain is man-management skills, and ego-management.. Whereas GG will bring his own ego on the table. If the coach wants to be the dominant person in the dressing room while seniors are still around, we all know what happened when Greg Chapple came in trying to be the boss of the team.

I have a suggestion for you lot for the guezzing game! One change has been incorporated where one's guess is not limited to other guesses. This could increase chances of ties. So, introduce a NRR concept where the difference between the guess and the actual runs is calculated and averaged over the number of the guesses. That'll be fun! Also, next level of ties breaker should be the Bulls Eye!!!
