Great slider! Also that’s an image of the Chinese Lion Dance, not an Owl haha. The Lion is holding a scroll in its mouth, which is common for the performance

I totally understand what makes it special, but it just looks like its an unfinished knife to me. It looks like its at the point where the detent is being set/tested in an unground blade. Its cool to see some carry wear on it, though.

These are not technically custom, still made by Shirogorov, designed by Sinkevich. 65 made, pretty much impossible to find, sadly well over 2k

Is this knife legal in california?
@Fablades6 күн бұрын
No concealed carry of knives with blades over 2 inches. Only pocket knives, not fixed blades, can be carried concealed. Open carry of fixed blades on your belt is legal if less than 5 inches. Switchblades, daggers, cane swords, and other exotic knives are illegal. Work-related exceptions allow bigger knives for certain jobs. Violating knife laws can result in misdemeanor or felony charges.

the circular hole in the liner lock bar seems like a major stress point
@FoOkDoOsLe8 күн бұрын
I just picked one of these up on auction. I agree about the action. Right away, I noticed it was stiff and didn't always deploy. I managed to tweak the pivot and oil so that it's more acceptable but adjusting the lockbar proved a bit challenging. For such a nice knife, these adjustments should have been done at the factory. I think it's interesting that if you remove the flipper tab, it really doesn't have a good deployment method - not even a nail nick for 2 handed opening.

The knife itself is like $150, but I think only 10 had that goofy laser work done and apparently some people think that makes it worth _more,_ so probably double the cost of the stock knife.

@MastertechNick21 күн бұрын
Rassenti doesn't forge his Damascus and timascus, doesn't fold the handle. The lockbar is far more intricate, even the screws he makes in house. His unique flipper that he designed and not to mention he was the first to put bearings in a folder. Gus is a legend and his work is worth the time and detail he puts into his knives
