Of course you were going to get it on the first day. Finally CTtransit made another route in Meriden and can't lie, this is the best route so far. It's more interesting now that there are new places to check out and a lot of back roads for the drivers to be hauling with an XD or XDE. I'll be able to get my ride on 567 myself on Friday.

Apparently the guy sitting in front of you didn't realize that the 262 isn't an exact copy of the 261X and has two more stops than the 261X and doesn't just do a straight continuous jaunt on I-91 like the 261X.

Yes, finally someone noticed. So what this passenger was trying to do is get to the train station in Milford. New Haven doesn’t have direct bus service to Milford Railroad Station besides 271M, but it doesn’t run on Sundays. He hopped on the 262 trying to get to Connecticut Post Mall since it’s a faster trip and yes, it does serve the highway and was so confused on why we got off the highway but he didn’t know it serves Orange District then the Mall. I mean it’s part of the schedule but still a new route. But the way how he acted on the bus is something else to talk about too.

This route will be discontinued on the 25th as part of increased service on 34X. All 34 trips will be replaced by 34X. Only reason why this is taking effect is because of increased ridership on route 34 due to Amazon passengers.

@@rondeezothebusandrailfannerthe only new routes in the 25th is 125, 262, and 567 while 907, 140, 45 and this one and maybe other routes will be discontinued some of them will go for service changes.

I love public transportation buses and trains. I wish you could take a visit to my hometown of Cleveland, OH you would see how the bus operators be moving fast with them New Flyer XD60s and Gillig BRTPlus CNGs and diesels. I love my area of Austin, TX because we have tons of public transportation only for 1.25 one way.

Before anyone tell me this in 1014 instead of 1015, this is because the recording came off 1015 but I didn’t have a photo of 1015 so I used 1014. Same 2010 MCI D4500CT with the same powertrain. Just different numbers.

It does exist. It’s a bus route in Wallingford operated by NET for a limited amount of time.

Route 291 or Center Street is a limited service bus route starting from Burke Heights to Wallingford Center switching over to route 292, North Colony Road to and from Wallingford Center serving North Colony Road and North Turnpike Road. Both routes are indeed limited service and the last 291 trip will switch over to 215M from Wallingford Center to Meriden Transit Center then go garage bound in Watertown.

Sadly they had to leave New Haven. I didn’t think New Haven had so many spare buses at that time to make transfers to other divisions.
