I discovered this song driving through the highlands. It expresses my love for Scotland! In my mind I sing it "I want to dance LIKE a highland girl" I wish I could feel the breeze of the Hebredes from my side of the world! Scotland calls to me. Can't wait to go back!

Thanks Ali! We discovered Tide Lines before we went to Heartland and now the whole family are fans. I hope my 5 and 7 year old girls are 2 of the youngest Tideys! Sadly the gig at Speyfest is too late for them. Lovely song.

Hi, being a Runrig fan, I have just discovered Tide Lines after being on Rothesay for the past two weeks. What would folk suggest is the best album to buy?

I first heard this song while driving around the Isle of Skye with my wife. We have been married almost 38 years and are spending 2 weeks on Skye for our vacation. We are staying in the Laundry cottage on the grounds of Dunvegan castle. As the July sun was setting and shone its reddish-orange light on Dunvegan Castle, the beauty of this island, your music, the love I feel for my wife, and all of our years together all hit me at once. The tears are flowing now as these lyrics in this place at this time overwhelm me... PLEASE release this acoustic version...
